In response to your review. I take pride in keeping my cabins in the best possible shape. We deep clean along with cleaning between each rental. When you called, we responded right away and came over exactly when you requested at 8 am the next morning. We addressed everything you had mentioned. We changed out all the a/c filters, even though they were just recently changed. We started the pilot light on the fireplace and then you did not want to the pilot light on. You said the kitchen sink was clogged and you had some plastic wrap in the sink blocking the drain. Your own daughter said she dropped the candy that you said you found underneath the bed. You said you found two cigarette butts in the mulch but then could not find them for us to pick up. I do have two picnic tables but if one is broken, we will dump the broken one. I just added the Lifetime Picnic table this year. In response to the smell of the creek, I can’t control mother nature, but I have never smelled a foul smell from the creek and neither had anyone ever stated that the creek smelled bad. The bunkbeds are log bunkbeds they are not cracked. The “cracks” you are referring to are called “checks”, which are a natural result of logs drying and shrinking over time, and can appear before, during, or after construction. Checks can be small, long, or noticeable, and can face up or down, or appear on either the interior or exterior of the log. This being said logs are extremely strong and these log beds are sturdy and strong. The bottom line is that we are all humans and can miss something during a clean. However, we were more than happy to do a full clean again however you refused for us to do that. Now you left and have complained about things you never stated before. My property manager and I work extremely hard to give the best experience to all our guests and will always fix anything that needs to be addressed. I know you wanted a full refund and when you did not receive it you retaliated by giving 1-star reviews. We did do that promptly. I hope that other owners read this before allowing you to rent.
