Magnifique motel au goût vintage
Publié le 5 juin 2024 sur HotelsLe motel est situé dans un cadre magnifique en bordure de rivière. La décoration dans le goût des années 60, aussi bien de l’extérieur et de la chambre réserve de jolies surprises. Nous avons apprécié l’accueil et le confort.

Excellent et magnifique motel au goût vintage

This motel was closed due to weather and flooding. We was not informed in any way until we arrived at the motel.
The woman we talked to was very kind and apologetic. Everything was out of her control. We hope to return some day.

Brian,I cannot thank you enough for being understanding. This natural disaster has devastated some regions. Luckily, we only suffered minor damage and I have now reopened. It was heartbreaking to not be able to communicate with our guests during that long period of time. We are thankful and blessed in so many ways. Thank you again and I truly hope you make your way to us in the near future.

I chose this hotel based on the “10” posted reviews. Although the ground were pretty and the owners very accommodating and and nice,I was very disappointed once we got into our room. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, the porch was full of leaves, cobwebs on the light fixtures and the screen door was quite dirty. The bathroom was clean but way to small… no counter space at all. Also, I had to ask for a hairdryer. Cute place needs work!

Hi Carla,I am so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. I can assure you that your room was not smoked in. We are adamant on this topic. I even went back through the pervious occupants, and we had no issues. I think what you were smelling, I experienced this myself, is a neighbor burning brush. As for you balcony cleanliness, we do maintain our outdoor spaces. Regrettably, trees and spiders have a mind of their own. Yes, you have to ask for hairdryers. We keep these in the office. We have discovered that a great deal of guests carry their own. As a curiosity, we have hairdryers in the office. I am truly sorry you did not enjoy your visit to the Great Smoky Mountains and our inn. We strive to be the best and will take your comments into account.

Maggie Valley Gem!

Maggie Valley has lots of different revitalized motel options to stay at, but Route 19 Inn is special with riverside seating & an updated 1950’s aesthetic. Family owned and family friendly, with attention to details in a beautiful setting. I stayed here after bringing my daughter to college (equidistant to Western Carolina University in Cullowhee and UNC Asheville), and I plan to return!
