Front desk needs to do better with answering phones especially considering many out of towners likely coming in! It’s nerve racking making a huge trip to somewhere without any reassurance the place is even open when trying to contact for days.

My friend and I stayed here for a couple nights and in the few days advance going forward I tried to call through various hours within their business hours I got NO answers. I had to do chat on Expedia to adjust my stay as well as figure out if this place was even open! My bed had nasty little black specs in it. Throughout the stay no one was at the desk I found one person at the bar. If they’re going to the bar and still on working hours I believe you should at least have someway of finding out if someone called. I really hate to have to be so negative but I stressed that I had to drive 4 hours and find out if the place was even going to be there considering google claimed it was “permanently closed” and no one seemed to care about that being wrong either. Also there was hardly any way to have decent night light, the room was light not at all by any ceiling fan or light.

Posted Mar. 24, 2024 on HotelsThere is a good restaurant off of the lobby. Cheeseburger and fried mushrooms was very good. Room was spacious and had been renovated not long ago. The ice machine didn't work. There is a narrow river/stream in the back side of the property. I can't really complain for the price.

Pros- Comfortable beds, clean, friendly staff, fire pit by the creek with wood available.
Cons- 2 of the windows couldn't be locked
