Very poor parking options. Limited public parking across the road and had to wait for spaces to become available when parking. Then had to carry all luggage from parking lot to hotel. Elevator out of service for our entire stay. Also, no ventilation in the room, so required to have windows open, which was right over 4 intersections and extremely noisy.

Hi Tania,Thank you for your message, we appreciate all feedback provided to us. Firstly we want to apologise that you felt had a negative experience. The car park situated directly across from the hotel offers free parking facilities for all guests. As we are located within a busy town, most guests are extremely happy with this, given that it is situated right opposite the hotel and most town hotels don't provide parking facilities.Our team would be happy to carry any luggage if you had any difficulties transporting it across the road. We are always here to help. As with most hotels locally, A/C is normally not provided in the rooms due to the cold temperatures within the UK. We do have rooms located downstairs with A/C if any guests request this. If we had of known we would have happily moved you to one. Unfortunately the noise is something out of our control due to being located within the busy town centre. However we do take your advice on board and will continue to look for ways to improve the guest experience, we take on all advice and recommendations. We hope the experience hasn't put you off, we would love to welcome you back to correct this experience. We hope the rest of your stay was enjoyable and you got to enjoy our hospitality and food. Excellent service with a warm welcome and attentive staff.The room was fantastic with comfortable bedding - excellent Wi-Fi connections and complete tv services. The bathroom was perfect matched the quality of the bedroom . Friendly staff and a beautiful historic building for accommodation with the a lovely indoor and outdoor environment . I look forward to staying again hopefully soon .

My room was cold, as the heating which is switched on from reception hadn't been turned on. After a few hours it still hadn't heated up so I asked to change rooms which they were happy to arrange for me. Food options wasn't the best, had a burger and chips which was dry. In the end I left this. The lady on reception was really nice and friendly.

No food, even though I rang ahead to ask, breakfast started at 10:00 am - no table available due to eat out offer. Cold & damp Noisy Dated

Stayed at Walsh's for a buisness trip. Lovely staff and a very warm friendly hotel.
