We loved our stay at El Placer! Quiet, comfortable home on an absolutely stunning beach! We took an amazing 8 mile (round trip) walk along the beach, and only met a few fishermen along the way. No other people for miles! A memorable day and experience! And Ricardo was a kind and very responsive host. Would absolutely recommend staying here! One thing to note: the mosquitoes can be quite nasty right around dusk, so remember to cover up and/or have bug spray handy.

I really liked the house and the property. The house is very well built and well appointed. The caretaker Ricardo is very helpful and friendly. Great views, safe area, nice breeze, and nice area to lounge or play in the sand with our little one. It's a quiet location a bit far from town which can be nice but it does take a while to get to the house from town or the main highway (about 30-40 mins). The only downside and this is not the owner's or caretaker's fault is all the trash that washes up on the beaches in this general area. The caretaker cleans up what he can but there is always more that comes in with the tide it seems. I hate to mention this but it has to be said, though no fault of the owners or caretaker here. They meticulously maintain what they can on the beach in front of their property.

The property was amazing, we enjoyed the peacefulness of being away from town to just unwind. The snorkelling was great lots of fish and lobster nearby. The caretaker was very helpful with everything we needed from cutting up coconuts to giving recommendations for things to see. The house and beach was very well kept and the night skies were spectacular. Would definitely recommend this spot and will definitely be going back in the future.

Property is described and photographed accurately. We enjoyed every minute there. Highly recommended for a relaxing get away from everything
