Publié le 15 avr. 2017 sur ExpediaNous avons passé10 jours à Koko Villa. Premièrement, préparez-vous à beaucoup de bruit. Entre les chiens de la propriétaire qui aboient pendant des heures jour et nuit, les tuyaus et réservoires d'eau qui font un vacarme énorme à toute heure et les coupeurs d'arbre, ce n'était pas de tout repos. C'aurait été bien que la propriétaire nous accueille le premier jour et nous explique les installations. Ceci dit, c'était propre, grand et Georgette qui s'occupe du ménage était parfaite!

good potential; but poor management & maintenance
Publié le 16 janv. 2022 sur HotelsThe villas are spacious, and have good layouts - their bedrooms, bathroom, living area, and terrace. The washing machine in the unit is a plus.
The villa that was given to us smelled moldy. While the pillowcases looked clean, the pillows themselves were heavily stained and smelled really bad; so did some towels.
The kitchen appliances, especially the fridge and glasswares, weren't cleaned well too.
The property does not offer free wifi anymore. "Anymore" because there was a router in our villa; but we were told we had to buy a local sim card if we wanted internet.
Staff Aline who serves as the key contact person for the villa needs to be more helpful, and pay more attention to the details of the bookings. We started on the wrong foot. When we arrived at the property, there were no welcome greetings; instead, her first words to us were "You did not arrive yesterday. I waited for you!" Only to find out that she mistook us for other guests, and reprimanded us for it.
When we wanted to extend our stay for two more nights, Aline blocked the property on Hotels.com right away; thus we had no choice but to do it directly through her. Her excuse was that she didn't want other people to book our villa. Not true. In fact, many villas were empty.
Aline was proactive when she needed something from us (e.g. payment collection); but oftentimes unavailable when we needed help (e.g. questions on taxi rates). Her fave line is "I will check on that; and get back to you." She never did

Dear sir / madame,
these clients came for 2 nights only and yes I mistake them from a client that was suppose to come on the 25th dec that infact you guys cancelled and I didn't get access to it.. first of all they wanted an upstairs villa which I had none and secondly the booking was suppose to be for I apartment sharing one bedroom but it was 2 male clients also would like to note that th router in the apartment as explained to them is for the cable tv connection only.. we do not have free wifi and I explained to them... being an apartment that we rent in and out the stuff in the apartment was used before by other guest and it is not new but to our check report from ministry of tourism that we get especially now during covid I guaranty that all was ok.. and these clients just want to dirty my apartments on the web as they got a good service plus help they wanted ...also they were the one's to ask me to block the apartment for them.. so I did....every help those clients wanted I did my best to help them .. of course I needed to block the apartment for them just like a direct booking ... so am so sorry if things didn't work out for them but the should have ask for further help if needed.

Constant harrasment by staff. Someone called in the middle of night giving orders. Open windows, close windows, turn off air conditioning etc.

dear Sir I yes we did call you to close the window because if you are using Air/ conditioning you need to close the window for the Air/con compressor to cut and start otherwise it will burn the unit and it was not in middle of the night it was at 5.30 pm evening thank you very much

La struttura esternamente di presenta molto bene , buona la posizione , peccato non ci siano indicazioni di Koko villa a Glacis . Il difetto più grande sono le pulizie che vengono fatte tutti i giorni tranne la domenica , superficialmente. Devo dire che partendo di sera sono stati molto disponibili e ci hanno lasciato l appartamento fino alle 18:00 . Noi amiamo la Seychelles!!!!!

Pour : Die Lage,es waren in der Nähe viele schöne Buchten und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten
Contre : Der Standort ist fehlerhaft,es wird woanders angezeigt
Emplacement : Es befindet sich auf einer Anhöhe aber Strand und Geschäfte sind gut erreichbar,jedoch der Rückweg ist ein bisschen anstrengend
Schönes Apartment in Strandnähe ,wir haben die Aufenthalt sehr genossen

A basic option in an isolated location

Emplacement : With a car 15 minutes to the "Boathouse" etc. 30 minutes walk uphill from bus stop on the main road and nearest beach
This was offered by Expedia as an inexpensive "bolt on" to the flight I booked, I had intended to look a another option, but surprisingly found few reviews online, so decided to take a chance. It was in an isolated location about 1km up a steep narrow road about 15 minutes drive from Beau Vallon, near the north tip of the island. The apartment was equipped as advertised and was adequate. Unfortunately the apartment we were allocated had at some stage suffered mildew/mould and although there were was no visible mould growth, there was an unpleasant smell steeped into the apartment which combined with disinfectant/air freshener made us feel unwell. We were unfortunately unable to locate an alternative that afternoon, but left the next day having found somewhere else. My advice would be if you can afford to go to the Seychelles for a Holiday then you can afford something better than this. it may be better suited to families working locally who seemed its main clientele rather than tourists. The only person we met who wasn't in charge was helpful, but I would not consider this accommodation suitable for Expedia, who I have used for quite a few years with no past negative experiences.
