Slightly off the beaten track, but worth a night.
Publié le 15 juill. 2024 sur HotelsNav Lady slightly off with directions and a little hard to identify at night. That aside, the room was fine, the bed excellent and the breakfast, prepared by the host, Allison, outstanding.
Would we return?

Maddie’s is a beautiful character home. Our room was absolutely sparking clean and beautifully furnished. The staff went beyond what we expected, even provided a sewing kit and set up an ironing board! A full delicious breakfast was served topped off with freshly made muffins and barista-made coffee. This was our first stay but definitely will not be our last!

Maddies is a really quaint, old-world B&B with loads of character. Only a few rooms, but they are cozy and charming.
The staff are super friendly and helpful and greet you as soon as you arrive. The breakfast is delicious and your room fridge comes with complimentary sweets / cakes. The grounds are quiet with view over the surrounding fields.
The location is a little isolated though and on a main road, so the nearest town is a 40 min walk.
Would highly recommend staying here for a night or two.

Lovely ambience and friendly staff. Welcoming, comfortable and yummy food options. Convenient to Morpeth.
