"We had a full house with my dad, my two grown boys, their wife and GF, and granddaughter, and it was perfect. We played games at the large table, had a quiet space for reading that was away from the TV, and enough bathrooms for the 7 of us. The floaties, life jacket, chairs, and boogie boards were perfect and traveled with us daily. The best part though, was getting up in the morning for a cup of coffee, going out back, and listening to the bird songs while looking at the mountains. Something you won't be getting at a resort. It was so peaceful. We did spend time at the beach down the road, and it was really nice, but being winter, the waves were a bit much for us. One of the days was fine, and I'm guessing in summer months it's great. Just check out Safebeachday.com to see wave safety on all Oahu beaches for the day. Driving around was easy, and we hit beaches on all sides of the island. Would definitely stay again. We are from towns in the US, starting in North Seattle to Eugene Oregon, and never felt that the homeless population, that you hear a lot about, was an issue. People were friendly. We had no troubles. "
