The Lodge is in a beautiful location. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, though simple. The shared cooking facilities were less inviting but provided adequate equipment.

HiI am so sorry that you were a bit dissapointed with your stay. We are busy winding down as we close in winter for 4 months and we have cut down on our menu items to minimise wastage. During wonter we will be embarking on some renorvations. Please come and visit us again next summer.

A night stay.
Posted Apr. 19, 2024 on HotelsIt was a good place to stop over as we were driving from Franz Josef to Queenstown. The room did not have wifi. We have to go to the reception or another location to get wifi which is not so convenient. And beware as there
were a lot of bees flying around. My friend was stung on his foot when he wore his shoe.

HiThank you for the review. We did have some bees around and we got someone into move them off site. Im so sorry your fried got stung!Unfortunately because of the remotness of our lodge and all the trees and bush we are not able to get Wifi to the cabins. Im so glad that you enjoyed your stray

Check in wasn't as friendly of an experience as I would have hoped. I'm in the middle of nowhere and have never stayed there before. I kind of felt like I was wasting their time a bit, but the restaurant staff were amazing! Other than that, we absolutely loved the stay and will book again if down this way.
