Situated in Victoria’s historic Goldfields and only an hour and a half from Melbourne, Sinnamons Cottage is the perfect getaway for any occasion.

Only a short stroll to the charming center of Maldon, you can do as much or as little as you like. The cottage is yours to enjoy. We encourage you to make use of the eclectic CD selection, free WiFi or Netflix during your stay. Sinnamons Cottage is more than well-appointed.

Lovely cottage, great location
The cottage is very nicely set up with lots of nice touches - flowers everywhere, fire laden, tea, coffee etc supplied, instructions for working things. Added bonus of hen house with fresh eggs every morning. Beautiful rambling garden with everything in flower. Well fenced for our dog who lived all the paths

Best cottage ever!!
Absolutely beautiful cottage, with thoughtful touches like a bath bomb and soap to use, leaving the heating on so the house was warm when i arrived. Magnificent place to stay, so close to wonderful walks and the lovely town. The host was very thoughtful and considerate. Cant wait to stay again!

Beautiful cottage, close to the main town
We immediately felt at home here in the heritage cottage and gorgeous gardens that were filled with fruit trees. The beds were comfy with fancy linen and the appliances were top range. The highlight was the shower, which was like a waterfall, and the deep claw foot bath. Divine. It was a couple of minutes walk to the main street where we fell in love with Le Sel's chocolate croissants. Highly recommended, and we would stay here again.

The house was gorgeous, photos online don’t do it justice. We had a great mini stay doing walks around Maldon with our 2 boys. Such a fascinating little town. The house is so well appointed, we were so comfortable throughout our stay. Thank you for having us!

Everything has been thought of at the cottage, from the welcoming lights to the comfy cushions on the porch. Even the resident chooks are thoughtful and generous with their eggs. We had a lovely weekend, catching up on some relaxing and wandering into the village of Maldon which is a short stroll away. Thanks for a great stay.

Sinnamon's Cottage is beautiful.
This cottage was absolutely perfect and right in the heart of Maldon. Gorgeous garden setting and the cottage had so much character. Beautiful wood fire and even dog friendly. Will definitely be back.

The cottage is very well equiped. The garden is superb - a fantastic selection of plums,apricots,lettuce and herbs. Each day the hens produced fresh eggs for our breakfasts - delicious! Very short walk into the town and well situated for walking tracks - great location. We are looking forward to returning 😀

Outstanding property, highly recommended!
This property is an absolute gem, inside and out. The sitting room is cosy and full of character, well-equipped with comfy couches, music, TV with Netflix and a fantastic slow combustion wood heater. The bedrooms are luxurious, the kitchen is a joy with eye-level views of gardens brimming with snowdrops, there's a dining room with cloth napkins in a drawer (love that detail) and a big spa tub in the bathroom. But for us the biggest highlight was the garden! Nothing I could say will prepare you for what a wonderland this garden is. Right outside the back door, find oregano, parsley, thyme and mint in (my pasta sauce was much improved). There are daffodils and jonquils, vegetables and fruit trees, all sorts of birds and five friendly chickens. It just goes on and on. We felt like we were in the countryside, but the main street was just a few minutes away. Great communication with our host throughout the visit. Thanks for everything Steven!

We loved our stay at Sinnamon's cottage - friendly service, beautiful furnishings, lovely garden and warm as toast with the heaters and fireplace. It was a perfect distance for strolling into town and the verandah was a great spot for an afternoon cup of tea or glass of wine. We will definitely be back!

A Cottage and garden to relax and recover
A lovely cottage to spend time enjoying the beautiful furniture and decor of other eras. The cottage garden is a treasure trove of perfumed plants and trees with winding paths that entice you to discover more. The cottage is well appointed and comfortable. Jamie the host is lovely and welcoming. Enjoy!
