Extortion

Extortionately high price. While the hotel is clean it is in dire need of a renovation. It has no facilities and is really just a clean bed for the night. It does not warrant the high price. Entrance and downstairs fire exit was locked and I had to go to the upstairs fire exit to leave in the morning.

no frills quite

NO restarunt facilities but you can walk 5mins to collect a takeaway.

lovely quiet rooms

Great for an over-nite stop as you do not hear any traffic noise from the N3. Rooms are really large with amazingly huge King Beds. Friendly staff No meals served due to Covid -19 however there is a Mugg and Bean;Steers and Debonairs not 100 metres from the hotel.

We just stayed one night and it was quite comfortable and relaxed, although no breakfast, the mugg and bean is walking distance so is the convenience store so the location is also good

Free Breakfast=20% Voucher

The Hotel (General) Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is dated and needs an upgrade. Main Gripe Hotel.com confirmation stated "free breakfast". However Protea Management only provided a 20% discount voucher at the Mugg & Bean!

Thank you so much for your concern about the bathrooms we are looking in to that to upgrade the rooms bathrooms. unfortunately we do not have a restaurant of our own and that is why we offer our guest the 20% discount at Mug & bean to go and enjoy a breakfast. Apologies for the confusion of a free breakfast.Hope to see you again.
