Beautiful lake home
Publié le 24 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis lake home is as beautiful and welcoming as the pictures show! The only difference (but positive difference) is in the pictures it shows on a hillside down to the lake which had me a little concerned traveling with children. However upon arrival I was extremely pleased to see the hill had been taken out, an area leveled and a retaining wall installed! Not only did this add safety and beauty to the property it also allowed for additional outdoor space for bochee ball or tossing a football. Plenty of indoor space and outdoor space with the two levels inside and out!
The kitchen was fully stocked and equipped and had everything we needed. The single, only downfall was we were only provided with one trash bag. Normally we pack extras just in case and did not this time. A lot of extras were provided such as dishwasher tabs, etc but just the one trash bag. A slight overnight I’m sure and nothing I would deduct from a rating for. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Fall break weekend

Nicely decorated!
No fire pit as listed in the amenities.
Grill was pretty dirty and remnants from other guests caught fire before we even cooked, so we had to clean thoroughly before use.

Lake view home!
Publié le 11 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis beautiful 3 level home provided something for everyone. We loved setting on the porch in the morning eating breakfast. We wish we had gave ourselves more time to explore the house area.
If I had to pick one thing I wish there were TVs in the main bedrooms.
Such a beautiful home!

Weekend with friends
Publié le 12 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe’ve stayed at this house for 5 years now and it never disappoints. Spacious, clean, well stocked and the view. We love swimming off the dock, having bonfires and hanging outside and having all those options each year keeps us coming back. My favorite place to stay.

End of summer getaway
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was the perfect end of summer getaway for our family, we did a couple of fun things including touring Mammoth Cave and horse back riding, but most of the time we swam in the lake, took the kayaks out that were provided with this house, cooked, and relaxed. We absolutely loved just getting away for a few days! The only downside is there is no washer and dryer. Wasn't a big deal because we only stayed 4 days, but if it were a week I could see laundry definitely piling up.

Nice but stinky
Publié le 16 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayEverything was nice and clean inside. Outside there was an issue with the septic tank and the back yard was a sewage leak that made the flies and a stink. Could not use fire pit.
If sewage issue fixed I would go back
