Avis Grand Chateau Residence in Juniper Ridge, 5000 sq ft, Best Views in Mammoth!

I went with a group of 11 single friends for an annual fishing trip, so we needed plenty of space and things to sleep on. this chateau fulfilled our requirements. the kitchen was equipped appropriately with all the things we needed. Water heater is beastly and got hot water to all the showers quickly. The tv's that we used were smart tv's so you can enter your user info in the various apps to watch whatever. BUT, their cable tv or whatever Service they had there was more than sufficient. Parking: we went in the time where there was no snow, and there is a two car garage, but if you have a large truck thing you will not fit in the garage, but will fit in the 3 spots outside in the driveway without hampering the neighbors. Complaints: window coverings. there were none in a few places, which made it weird when you were doing normal things in a bathroom. No A/C, that we could figure out. If you are expecting wide-open concept areas that will accommodate 9+ people , this doesn't have it. But if you have 8 or less, it's totally fine. Keep an eye on your kids-they may get lost... which may also be a positive. Positives: When you get there, it's a cool little treasure hunt to figure out where everything is. every room has a completely different vibe.. and there are a lot of rooms. The backyard has an AMAZING view. Do yourself a favor and get up before sunrise and have a coffee on the back patio and take it all in. The location is super central.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Spacious and comfortable. Lots of room to spread out. Kids loved the game room and the bunk room. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to grill and cook dinners. The views were amazing.

This property was everything the photos showed. The decor was very genuine country French. Lots of beautiful authentic artwork. Plus more. Cleanliness was over 100%. The views were magnificent. Linens and towels were 5 star hotel quality. The room layouts afforded a lot of privacy to all my guests. The kitchen and dining room are for serious gourmet cooks. Property is accessible to everywhere in Mammoth Lakes with ample parking space. I would give this stay a 10 out of 5.

Beautiful house and view, right next to the slopes. We did a Dad and kids weekend and the set up was perfect. Lots of space and beds for everyone. Kitchen and dining areas are all next to each other and layout made the house easy to navigate with our large group. Reservation office was very friendly and helpful - a great experience overall!
