More than just a port in a storm

We evacuated out home in front of a hurricane and found this room. Drive an hour outside of our projected path to get here for the night and the hotel desk was empty. Waited around for 20+ minutes looking for someone and called the number multiple times but no answer . Finically got back on the road and drive several kite hours in middle of night with my wife and 2 children to find another place - now being told someone will contact me within 10 business days to see if I can get a refund

Definitely NOT worth trying to stay
Publié le 29 août 2021 sur HotelsAfter booking online, we arrived at the hotel with no one to check us in. We had to end up finding a spot to park a few miles down the road and sleeping in the car. Tried to call the number that was listed on the reservation but it went straight to voicemail. Even after contacting hotels.com, they also had no luck contacting the hotel.

Very hot bathroom, a very toe stomping at the doorway into the bath. Water spelled like sewer and had to ask for towels the next day.

More than a hotel, it's a destination!
Publié le 6 avr. 2019 sur HotelsWe loved, loved, loved this hotel. We were fortunate enough to meet the current owner, Val, while we were there. The place is quirky and charming, and the manager is lovely. He and Val went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and then some. It's right across the street from Fred's Lounge, so if you're a Cajun music fan make sure to book a room on Friday night so you can go to the Saturday morning show at Fred's. The Hotel Cazan is a treasure.
