Question about Delux room
Publié le 5 févr. 2018 sur Expedia
Pour : nice pool,
This is a clean quality operation that is a condo hotel combination as you would find in the states. We booked the Delux room which has a window facing the walkway and is about 13 x 19 feet + bathroom. It has a Queen bed. Probably because we had stayed at a standard room in Los Patios and a delux King in Miss Magrits within the earlier two weeks for about the same cost we were disappointed in the comparison. we were upgraded to be able to use the living room which they did not need to do and was appreciated. The taxi to the airport was 20% more if arranged here, so we asked Los Patios taxi to take us from here'.

Beautiful, relaxing hotel with kitchen and pool
Publié le 1 févr. 2018 sur Expedia
Pour : Beautiful grounds, pool, and quiet.
Contre : Extra pillows and newer towels.
Emplacement : The location is perfect. Close to everything yet on a street of local residents so not touristy. We parked our car at the hotel and never used it.
We enjoyed our three days in amazing Colonial Grenada. The town is a one of a kind reminder of the Spanish occupation and influence in Nicaragua. The hotel was a lovely respite from the busy market, town square and bustling nightlife. Great staff, delicious breakfast and amazing cable tv ( we have been traveling for over a year, so our first cable tv). Room service and cleaning service was excellent. Our one BR apt was very large with kitchen, dining and living room. You will experience the ambiance of Grenada at Hotel Xelteva.

Amazing!!!
Publié le 1 févr. 2018 sur ExpediaMelissa went out of her way for us. She and her amazing staff obtained vigoron, vaho and nacatamal dishes for us to experience true Nicaraguan cuisine. I have never experienced that kind of personalized service at any hotel I have ever stayed at. I we be back!!!

Wonderful property
Publié le 29 janv. 2018 sur HotelsThis place is awesome. Comfortable, great location, excellent service, amazing pool (a pleasure after exploring the town). The ONLY drawback was the dog barking throughout the night behind our unit (#202). This went on most of the night and made it difficult to sleep. The rooster crowing at 5am in the morning (for me) is a more natural sound and not as bothersome - but the dog barking was difficult to handle. Would suggest ear plugs.

Beautiful accommodations with friendly staff, so eager to help. It was a quick overnight stay unfortunately and wish we could have stayed longer. Owner has interesting story with a friendly warm and welcoming vibe.
Birds and rooster are your natural wake up call and if we are ever back in Granada this is the for sure place to stay.

Very Nice Place
Publié le 27 déc. 2017 sur Expedia
Pour : Melissa, Margarita and Tania on the front desk were endlessly helpful .... booking trips, providing advice, etc.
The cleaning staff worked tirelessly.
Emplacement : The city is very walkable with lots of old churches, an old fort and the lakefront.
There are an endless array of restaurants, bars and cafes.
This is a fairly new place and very well maintained, spotlessly clean with a wonderful staff.
Overnight security guard and room safes promoting a very safe and secure stay.
Great breakfast served by the pool or in the garden area.
Less than a 10 minute walk from the town center.
Being in the city, we experienced noise at night .... cars, music, dogs barking and roosters in the morning.
Because of the holidays, we also heard endless fireworks although xmas eve at midnight was the big occasion.
Masaya and Mombacho volcanoes are fairly close and easy to visit.
Apoyo Lagoon is also close and a great place to spend the day swimming, kayaking and relaxing as a day guest at one of hotels.

Great Hotel
Publié le 15 oct. 2017 sur HotelsWhile a hot 10+ minute walk to the square it is a good value and a very nice small hotel. I was not expecting this place to actually look like the photos, but it did. The "room" was fine but what surprised us was it had a kitchen, dining area and living room.
The staff was amazing, very attentive and eager to please.
Breakfast was limited but delicious. Security was terrific but by the looks of the neighborhood was safe and probably more for our peace of mind. We always felt safe on the street. Pool actually has a deep end and while it is relatively small it was pleasant.
If you need internet, the code will log you into the strongest signal so keep it handy.
The ONLY two complaint is the hot water. You have to turn on a lot of breakers so that night I thought it just had not warmed up yet. In the morning, I took a very cool shower. That afternoon I discovered the Hot was on the right not left handle. Hahaha. But it still was barely warm.
Overall for what you usually get in an Central American Hotel the experience and room was terrific.
We will back to Granada, it is a beautiful city and there is enough to do for days. We will stay at the Xalteva again. :-)
