Average stay. Simple things not done right

Stayed in lots of IHG hotels before… this one was not up to the usual standard. Room was not clean; dust everywhere, filthy mirrors and a vacuum had not been near the carpet. It took 3 attempts to get towels in the room as they werent there when I checked in. 3 night stay, no one came into the room at any point to remove rubbish, hoover, tidy etc. This is despite asking for the room to be serviced. Having said all this, comfy bed and I slept well. Breakfast was fine (considering it is ‘free’).

As always a great place to use as a base for business in the Trafford area. Great location, superb staff and rooms. Disappointed that they have felt the need to charge for parking now. Although not expensive, it was frustrating to see this is now in place.

Last minute getaway

We booked last minute as we were already in manchester. Great price for 3 of us with breakfast included. The room was a decent size for 3 of us and would stay again with it being next door to the trafford centre.

Reviews

The toilet was dirty and the lift was dirty with dirty tissues and a dummy. Breakfast the service was good but the staff just waited around you and the food went cold very quickly. The bed was very comfy but sleep was poor for people running around the corridor and slamming the doors in the early hours.
This was left in the lift at around 7ish in the morning
