Publié le 4 févr. 2017 sur HotelsStaff very friendly but hotel not geared for foreign people. Remote from most tourist areas but at 3 euros for a taxi does it matter. Not many restaurants in area so taxi 3 euros needed-again not a problem. We enjoyed the experience.

Good for a night
Publié le 20 nov. 2016 sur HotelsThis was a very nice hotel if you'll be in Mandalay and don't really plan on seeing much unless you take a taxi. It's pretty far away from everything and the immediate area is under heavy construction which makes noise all day and into the night. The staff were wonderful, especially at breakfast and the check-in counter. Speaking of breakfast, it was wonderful! Typical Burmese food of rice, curry chicken and fried potatoes and it was buffet-style and super yummy. I even went up for seconds which I never do! I was only in Mandalay because I needed to catch a flight the next day, so I didn't mind not being able to walk anywhere but others might.
Taxi service to the airport was 15,000 MMK which was reasonable. The room itself was large and comfortable but the television didn't have any English channels, but that's alright - I watched movies on my laptop.
