Advertised pool was closed for winter and hallway had a slightly strange smell. Otherwise quiet and comfortable

Good place to stay

Overall, the stay was good. The hotel and its surroundings very well taken care of, quiet neighbourhood, good breakfast, outdoor pool. The only problem that I had was that upon checking in I was told that my booking didn't include my pet dog. When I looked for a stay, I used the filter for pet friendliness. Upon booking, there was no place to indicate that a dog would be included with the guests. I've been travelling and staying in motels/hotels for a while. Usually, upon booking in, the hotel clerk would mention about fees if dogs are brought along. So, upon my checking in at Lancaster Inn, I was told that my reservation didn't include a dog and that all the pet-friendly rooms have been booked. Then, I was told that I could have a regular room and an additional cleaning fee on top of the regular pet cleaning fee would have to be charged. This wasn't very welcoming when my family and I arrived at around 11pm. I was told that it was Hotels.com's fault, but it really didn't make any sense. So, my advice to everyone travelling with pets to this place is to make sure to let the hotel know that you are travelling with pets.

Great to stay if going to Sight and sound and you have a car, only 25 minutes drive. Breakfast is good and coffee and juice always available in lobby

Lancaster Inn Suites is a very nice hotel it's safe quiet and Convenient to the sports complex where my son plays ball at. but my hotel Sheets were dirty the bathtub was dirty and I had ants crawling on my floor with sticky stuff. The Worker at the front desk did help me. But the room shouldve been cleaned already!

Very outdated. Carpet needs replacing in all hallways and lobby. Vinyl flooring throughout rooms is too much. It’s too hard. Our room was not clean. Dirt on floor and sofa was dirty too. Staff is very nice.
