Can’t say enough about this staff. They front desk staff were literally under siege when I arrived for check-in as a weather front from a typhoon was rolling in, and everyone and their mothers were seeking refuge at the hotel. And if that wasn’t enough, the lobby was practically underwater from the high water levels caused by the rain. When I came down the next morning, one would have never imagined that less than 24 hours before the place was a disaster area, as it looked as pristine as it might have the day it opened. Whatever bonuses or raises the engineering and front desk staffs received, they earned them.

depreciating service, noisy hallway,

recognizably old. walls and bath tub are dirty. had to request for a different room because it was noisy in the hallway, aircon wasnt properly working. lack of confidence in any of the staff. some are even dragging their shoes when they walk. foh team dont pag attention. busy yapping with each other. dining staff crammed to unnecessary concerns and didnt pay to immediate guest concerns. overall, the staff needs retraining and refresher for hotel courses, the way they should walk and talk to the guest. the building may be old and needs renovation but hopefully the service should stay superb and elegant. that what would make a huge difference.
