Generally good stay

We enjoyed our stay overall, a few things could have been better though. The front desk staff were a little blunt, not necessarily rude but not super welcoming either. The pool closes at 10pm, which is normal for most hotels but I do wish it was open later. The rooms smelled a little odd. Kind of like stale bread. Not a big deal though. Breakfast was basic but not in a bad way and I enjoyed the waffles. Pool area was very cute, and clean as well. Outdoor smoking area was quite nice. I would say the room was a little expensive for the quality, the king suite was still a little basic for the price, but I’m not too picky— for the most part we enjoyed our stay. Only thing I really say should be improved is the hospitality from staff.

The lightbulb was missing from one lamp at the headboard area and the other one blinked like a strobe light. There was no elevator so I had to carry my stuff up 2 flights of stairs. I have a knee issue so this would've been good to know before booking. The room was clean.

Someone tried to open our room in the middle of the night. I wasnt impressed with the customer service, the front desk receptionist had her children with her and they were very loud and roudy. I wasnt aware of this till check in, but they require a breakage deposit, and i had to pay this on top of the room rate. It would've been nice to know this ahead of time.
