Located in a quiet semi-rural setting on a 1/3 acre in the Mansfield township, this charming 2 storey self-contained home accommodates up to 12 guests. It is ideal accommodation for families and groups of friends, set in a very peaceful location with tranquil private front and rear gardens with plenty of room for everyone both inside and out. Treat yourself and indulge in a stay at Mansfield House and enjoy everything the adventurous High Country has to offer.
Comprising of 4 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large open plan lounge / dining room with wood heater and reverse cycle heating a/c adjoining a country style kitchen with dishwasher and microwave oven, all looking out to a tranquil front & rear garden. Great undercover outdoor entertainment area with gas BBQ, 8 seater table & chairs and relaxing lounge chairs all overlooking large private rear garden.

Check-in / Check-out

* Check out time is 10.00am
* If there are no back-to-back bookings on the day you arrive or leave we are normally happy to extend these times.

HOUSE RULES
We expect the house to be left in the condition it was at the start of your stay.
Neighbours – We have great long term neighbours. We respect their right to peace and quiet living. Please do not disturb our neighbours and refrain from offensive noise and anti-social behaviour. Parties, functions, loud music, shouting, loud noises and the like are absolutely prohibited.
Guests - You are strictly restricted a maximum of 12 people residing at the property.
In circumstances where our cleaner reports that more beds have been used than were booked and we believe that more people stayed in the house than were booked, $50 per person per night will be deducted from the security bond held.
Parking - Undercover off-street parking, plus parking in driveway. No parking on grass areas.
Rubbish - The council bins are located outside near the carport. Please remove all rubbish from the house and use the appropriate rubbish & recycle bins. If you are staying on a Thursday night, please put our bins out on the front natures strip.
Locks – Please keep the house locked when you are not at the property.
Smoking – Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house.
Pets - No pets allowed.
BBQ – The BBQ must be left clean after use. A cleaning fee of $50 will apply if the BBQ is left in a dirty state. This will be subtracted from your security bond
On Departure:
Security - ensure all external doors and windows are locked.
Remove all rubbish from inside the house.
Dishwasher - ensure all dirty dishes are stacked and dishwasher is put on.
Check all rooms & bedrooms to ensure all your personal belongings have been removed.
Please ensure all dishes are washed, the dishwasher is finished, clean, empty and left open, the BBQ is left clean and the kitchen is left in good order. Ensure the wood fire is closed, and all other heaters, electric blankets and air conditioning are turned off. Ensure the toaster, kettle, oven and hobs are all turned off at their source.
NOTE: It is our expectation is that you leave the house in the same order as you found it. Whilst you have been charged a cleaning fee this does not cover the house left in complete disorder.
If the house left in an unsatisfactory state then any additional cleaning costs will be deducted from your security bond.

Homey and comfortable

Mansfield House - Great Property
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Mansfield House. The property location in Mansfield is perfect. The property itself is well maintained and I did noticed that the light fittings have been upgraded to the new LED lights which makes the house bright in the night time. Also, love the fire place in the living room. Mark, if you could have a couple of more portable heaters in the property will be great.

Large old house not clean enough
Old house which was not clean, sadly. Desperately needs updating for the price they are asking. Sheets and beds were ok but kitchen cleaning cloths and dishes were all dirty. Bathroom showers and bench sinks were mouldy around edges. Very old carpet and linoleum floors. Not worth the money spent. Cleaner interrupted our stay during the evening to collect washing left behind from previous tenants. He could have waited as we were checking out the next morning. Had trouble unlocking the key safe, which was remedied by owner thankfully.

great location
Property fit our large group with ease, great location, everything you need is in the home, large back deck and yard, plentry of parking on the property - we have stayed at this home many times and will continue to return. Owner Mark is great with communication and very prompt with replies. Love this property for our group stays for the annual Merrijig Rodeo.

Amazing New Yead destination
Welcoming house with beautiful front and back yards. The bedrooms are clean and welcoming. 6 minutes drive to town - centre. We really enjoyed our stay!

Awesome, Large House in great location fo Mt Buller
Thank you to Mark for a wonderful stay at Mansfield House. We enjoyed two day trips to Mt Buller during our stay. We were 3 separate families with 2 kids each, ages 4 and under, and it was a really great house with plenty of space, good kitchen facilities and a huge backyard. A special mention for how nice the gardens were, and have been looked after, our the front and the back.

Issues with hot water
We could not shower on Saturday after our trip to Mount Buller. Not hot water. We communicated with property owner and was giving instructions to reset in main electrical box. This did not work. Customers are not supposed to open electrical box. Sunday morning before checkout we had to shower with cold water. We have proof of communication with owner. Very bad experience we will never book with you again. We ask for a refund of our money.

Lovely house for a large family

Mansfield weekend
The house had lovely outdoor and indoor spaces. It was further from town to walk than advertised and a bit dusty. But we thoroughly enjoyed staying there and was a close drive into town to all the restaurants. We spent time bush walking and visiting wineries.

Pleasant stay
Had a good stay here at Mansfield. The fireplace was excellent during cold winters. The shower head seemed a bit old and didn't stay in its place which wasn't ideal and dishwasher was also out of order when we stayed. But otherwise was a nice place to stay for a weekend at the snow close to Buller.

Great stay!

Comfortable Stay
Quaint property on the edge of Mansfield. It was comfortable, well equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with a lot of attention to detail, making it easy to find and operate things in the house.
