Super étape à Mantéo
Publié le 22 mars 2018 sur HotelsAccueil parfait dans une magnifique maison d’époque très joliment meublée avec goût. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec beaucoup de cachet et une jolie salle de bain. Un petit déjeuner très copieux spécialement préparé par une cuisinière charmante. Maison d’hôtes très calme a recommander.

A weekend in Manteo

The room was very spacious and had all the amenities you would want. It was very comfortable and nicely decorated.

We did not realize there were steps leading up to room. The worst issue was not being able to control thermostat in room, nasty bathroom sink and brown liquid coming up from the floor. We paid over $250.00 a night and should have had much better services and accommodation. No one at site to talk to, all via texts. No written information in room. Bedding was sub-par.

Tropical Storm Ophilia dampened our plans
Publié le 24 sept. 2023 sur HotelsAfter making a decision to leave Ocracoke Island following news that tropical storm Ophilia was forecast to hit the Outer Banks, we decided to leave the island and head inland to try and salvage the remainder of our week-long vacation. We settled on Manteo since we wanted to visit the Christmas Store and take in a few other attractions. Unfortunately, the weather continued to deteriorate so we decided to pack up a second time and leave for home. We were literally in the Cameron House Inn room for about two hours total. With that being said, Shelley, who greeted us outside and escorted us to our room was kind, personable, helpful and gracious. We enjoyed talking with her. The room was decorated beautifully and everything was super clean and tidy. There were plenty of towels and everything else we needed. The location is spectacular and right in the waterfront area. We could literally walk to everything. I would highly recommend the Cameron House Inn if you're in the area. And, we will likely try to stay here again when we return during a future trip. Hopefully, the weather will be better!

We had a couple of minor issues which were immediately attended to by the innkeepers which resulted in a perfect, comfortable stay. We would definitely stay again and would certainly recommend the Cameron House as THE place to stay in Manteo.

Beth was awesome to coordinate with. We had a lovely stay and had a blast. Town was conveniently walkable for restaurant, bars, shopping, sightseeing, etc. Thanks !!
