Publié le 5 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay. Such a wonderful place to relax! Greg & Shelley were so welcoming. Facilities were great, it was well equipped, & we loved the outside space. So many different places to sit & enjoy the wildlife, with the river flowing past. We cooked all our meals on the BBQ, and swam in the river. Golden Ears park is nearby, with plenty of hiking trails. We hope we will be able to return one day!

Cozy cabin
Publié le 13 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was nice. The owner was okay at communication. Nothing really stuck out good or bad. You can hear the owner walking around as they are living above you. It seemed more secluded on the listing than it actually was. It was good but nothing special

Why am I getting this review now, a year later? Our communication was great with 15 emails back and forth, not sure what the guest expected in communication?
I think he is confused with another stay because we have soundproof walls and sound barrier ceiling insulation

Perfect
Publié le 13 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were hoping for quiet, in nature and near water and that’s what we got. The property is as pretty in person and it is in the pictures lots of privacy. The room is very nice, full bathroom, comfy bed. The hosts are wonderful, gave great directions, loads of suggestions for things to do. Always willing to do more. I hope we get the chance to stay here again!

Best anniversary
Publié le 12 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayHad the most amazing anniversary hosted by Greg and Shelly on their beautiful property. If you’re a lover for nature, you should check out this cool place. Close to the river and all, you could gear the water flowing all night rocking you to sleep. Swimming by the clearest pond while having a bonfire and enjoying some treats. Couldn’t even believe this wonderful place is not so far away from the busy city. It was very private and yet the most amazing experience. Words can’t describe how amazing this place was, you just have to check it out yourself.

A great nature sanctuary

I would highly recommend staying here as the feeling is so comforting and relaxing.
Everything we needed was provided for us.
Greg, was so thoughtful to attend to the hot tub before we arrived to make sure it was fully operational. It was just a little on the hot side and we weren't sure how to turn it down,
so that may be a question to ask beforehand.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. It's a beautiful property!

Publié le 30 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property way exceeded our expectations. It was five minutes from town, but so remote! We literally were outside all day. The air was fresh hand the sounds of the river soothing. Inside, there were so many thoughtful elements. We just loved this space.
