High price without any luxury

Clean but basic. Very good bathrooms. Cheap Bedding. Access to property not clearly explained. Property only checked at the beginning of the season. We went in September and equipment was damaged or broken. Area lovely and locals extremely helpful

Lovely stay just a few minute walk to a great beach in beautiful Sardinia

We had a wonderful time at Villa Ami, and would definitely book again. The pool was great for cooling off (about 4 feet deep) but we preferred going to the beach. White sand, smooth bottom making it a delight to wade in the water, and some of the clearest water I've ever seen. If you're traveling 'off season' make sure you read the previous reviews. We visited in late May and there were limited restaurant options within walking distance (e.g., one only open on weekends till June, and required reservations). Luckily the well stocked market and friendly coffee shop were open in the mornings. If you don't mind cooking (or driving further afield) the upside of this time of year is few crowds! Likes - the location is perfect, easy and short walk to the beach, market and restaurants (when open) - kitchen was well equipped for basic cooking - the villa was very clean and uncluttered, bright and comfortable -the pool was nice and not too cold in mid/late May - the wifi worked very well for us - although we didn’t use the air conditioning much it seemed to work well. We found ourselves turning it on for a few minutes before we went to sleep to cool down the bedrooms - we found the beds to be comfortable, we slept well (the pillows were a bit too puffy for us) - easy communication with the host Wishes - it would have been lovely to have a couple of pool floats to lounge on - the recycling is a bit complicated for us (non-Europeans) and sometimes the items were not picked up.

Dream holiday

The house is perfect, Torre delle Stelle is lovely (and has pretty much everything you could need), Genn'e Mari beach is stunning... if you wanted to, you could easily stay in TdS for a fortnight, but it is also the perfect base to explore the SE corner of Sardinia - gorgeous Cagliari is 45 mins away, Nora/ Pula is 1 hr, the Sete Fratelli mountains are just inland, and there are so many other amazing beaches on your doorstep... Angela and Karim are also fantastic hosts, and their recommendations for trips and places to eat were perfect. We had a fantastic fortnight here and cannot recommend highly enough!

what a lovely 2 week holiday

The villa is well appointed being close to the supermarket, restaurants and beach. Torre Delle Stelle is a self contained resort area with no major developments to ruin the feel. The beach and sea are wonderful with amazingly clear water. The villa is well maintained, nicely furnished with good amenities and a lovely pool. The outer seating area creates a nice outdoor space. Karim and Angela were on hand to answer any queries we had and even gave us some welcome gifts in the kitchen when we arrived which were a lovely surprise. Coming home has been the most difficult part!

Very comfortable and clean house close to lovely beach

The house is modern, well appointed, beautiful and very functional. The owners were communicative, flexible and welcoming. The house is conveniently situated very close to a small but well stocked supermarket, bar and pizzeria and within a few minutes walk of a lovely beach. We loved our stay at Villa Ami and would thoroughly recommend this property. One thing to be aware of is that it is situated in an area with unmade roads, with some bumpy stretches.

Lovely quiet area with local beach and essential amenities

We really enjoyed our stay and the property was excellent as described online. We could walk to 3 restaurants (but one is closed after August) and two supermarkets. And the beach was a few minutes walk with a nice beach bar and various boats available for hire. The accommodation was ideal for us (couple and 2 adult daughters) and we utilised the pool area and BBQ. It was nice to have the option of air-conditioning in all rooms. The WiFi could be better with streaming not possible on most devices but OK for emails, messages and browsing. The one slight issue we had was with cleaning. We paid a significant additional fee for cleaning but were required to strip beds and gather towels before leaving, clean BBQ and put out bins most days without having been supplied the appropriate sacks. Also, the fridge smelled of fish form the start. None of these things were terrible but given the additional charge, we expected better.

Wonderful Sardinia Villa

We had a wonderful week and we would highly recommend the villa and the area. It is a lovely modern property with a large and very private pool area - nice and near to the beach and a small supermarket/restaurant. We very much enjoyed our stay -the villa is large and airy, with good wifi, tv etc (not that we used the tv) It is very well located from Cagliari - around 40 minutes and near to some other towns like Villamisimus which has more restaurants and shops. Torre Delle Stelle is very quiet outside of July and August so perfect for relaxing, swimming and reading. You can hire motor boats, pedalos and paddle boards at the beach (which is a nice 10 minute walk away) if you want to do more. We also enjoyed walking to the other beach which was slightly further away for a sunset swim. There are two small supermarkets and two restaurants open in the evening and that is it - so the town remains very unspoilt. Our only small comments would be - it might be more convenient to have a microwave in the property (we were always boiling milk on the stove for our coffee) or a proper coffee machine and the mosquitoes nets on the windows did not keep out the insects - we were a bit plagued by mosquitoes in the rooms (if you don't have the air con on) and by the pool but it might have just been the time of year! We could also have done with another set of keys as there were 5 of us so we were back and forth to that gate a lot if we were not together. I would highly recommend this property and Angela and Karin were very friendly, response and easy to deal with.

Sardinia

Property was excellent and as advised. Very peaceful and private. Lovely pool and lots of areas to sit out. Good provisions and facilities. Wi-Fi sometimes cut out or a little slow but other times worked fine. Location was amazing. A great pizzeria and supermarket a stones throw away. The beach is stunning and so easy to walk to. Some of the surrounding roads are effectively dirt tracks. It was ok but advise against a low suspension hire car. We had a fantastic trip, would return again and strongly recommend the villa and the area

Lovely place

Great location, so close to everything! Gorgeous beach and beach bars. We didn't really need a car in the end as there is a supermarket, pizzeria, fishmonger etc no more than 75m from the house. Lovely house with great pool. Would def stay again.!

Lovely stay in Sardinia

Our family of 2 adults and 2 children had a lovely very chilled and relaxing stay. Sardinia is a beautiful country. The beach within walking distance is great and restaurant/ supermarket also very close where you can buy most things. The road to villa was extremely bumpy on arrival but Sardinia (Italy in general) had an extremely wet May. We arrived to rain but then had great weather the rest of our stay. If you want a chilled holiday beach days/pool days then I would highly recommend.

Beautiful villa in great location

We have just returned from a week at Villa Ami (with our 2 teenagers and a 10 year old) and we are sad to be home. The villa is well decorated with two lovely shower rooms and a pool and terrace that is secluded with plenty of shade for those of us that burn easily! We loved the location - 50 m to a supermarket that stocks all you could possibly need, pizzeria, fishmonger and bar (great ice cream selection) and a short walk to a gorgeous beach. It's so close you don't need to worry if you've forgotten anything. And the villa has beach umbrellas for use too. Thank you Karim and Angela for a wonderful holiday.

Eine fantastische Unterkunft und perfekte Betreuung durch Angela und Karim, herzlichen Dank. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt. Beide waren immer fĂŒr uns da, vielen Dank. Die Lage ist super, das Haus echt gut. Kleinere Reparaturen sind nötig, aber beeinflussen den Aufenthalt nicht. An den frischen Pool haben wir uns schnell gewöhnt. Es war einfach nur schön.

Beautiful stay at Ami Villa

We had a very pleasant stay at Villa Ami.The villa was beautiful, bright, and peaceful. It is well shielded by hedges, providing a great deal of privacy.The only minor challenge is the access road, which is quite narrow. The transition from the street to the driveway is a bit tricky due to a small hill, especially for cars with a low clearance.It’s just a 3-minute walk to the supermarket, which has a well-stocked fresh food counter offering meat, cheese, antipasti, and baked goods. Across the street, there is a fish shop selling very fresh and tasty fish. The restaurant right next door is also highly recommended, with a well-balanced menu.The beach is, as described, 300 meters away and very beautiful. It lies in a bay and is not overcrowded. We found the area to be very local and authentic, which we really appreciated.If we travel to the area again, we would definitely book Villa Ami once more and can highly recommend it.

Ein toller Urlaub

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub hier in Sardinien, in der Villa Ami. Der Strand ist in 3 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Supermarkt und das Restaurant ist auch direkt um die Ecke. Man sollte definitiv mit dem Auto anreisen! Die Buchten in der NĂ€he sind traumhaft schön. Wer reinen Strandurlaub machen möchte ist auf Sardinien genau richtig. Trotzdem ein paar Kleinigkeiten im Haus ( Möbel ) und Aussenbereich könnte man verbessern, das wĂŒrde dem Haus ganz gut tun. Schöne GrĂŒĂŸe nach Maracalagonis 😎
