Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HomeAwayVery well maintained,had everything we needed. Blue book was well prepared with rules and suggestions of places to eat and things to do. We would only suggest a griddle of some kind to cook pancakes or eggs.

Gorgeous location!
Publié le 28 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis condo is so beautiful! It was the perfect space for our family plus grandparents - spacious and clean. We loved all the access to outdoor space. The kitchen was well-equipped and you could not beat the sunset. The Cabana Club was fun and the beach was great! We also loved Sombrero Beach. Owners were friendly and responsive as well. We are already talking about our next visit.

Mattresses need updating.
If the use of a pool is important, this is not the place to stay.
Our major issue was with the 'Pool' listed in amenities. FYI it is an 8mi drive to this Pool! Not child friendly! Not adult friendly! Pool is size one would have in your backyard!
Six adults were treated like 8 year old's who were in Detention in school! We were courteous and patient but property manager/drill Sargent Ellie would not let us speak. We tried to explain why we were there but she repeatedly interrupted us, not listening to our very simple question. Example - she yelled at us to look at her while she was talking! because one of our group turned to look at the pool area. I could go on....
We are not sure if Management requires her to guard this very small pool like it's Fort Knox or if she is just high on having authority, but there was no cause for the rudeness and insulting behavior. The 20 minutes left a very bad taste with all of us.
Although condo is located in Hawks Kay property, we suggest Owner HIGHLIGHT there is NO access to ANY of the Hawks Kay facilities (including Pool, Spa, Beach and Restaurant) and forego the little pool 8 miles away completely. We were wrong to assume the drive to this little pool would be worthwhile as being comparable to Hawks Kay!

The title of this review explains why you feel the way you feel, you did not read and did not ask questions prior to booking. When you did ask questions was 6 weeks after you booked and were still in a window to cancel with a full refund.
We have over a decade of providing excellent accommodations to our guests with a 5 star rating to back it up.
We also called Ellie at the Cabana Club after we were alerted of the issue and tried to help you, but you were unwilling to accept any help to solve the issue.
We do our best to ensure all of our guests have a great experience. Things may come up that impact your stay/experience. When given an opportunity to make it right, we do.

Christmas in the Keys
