Welcome to your secluded, off-grid, riverside retreat in the gated community of Cascade River Park in Marblemount, Washington! Set along the picturesque Cascade River. This charming cabin offers a peaceful escape for nature lovers and those seeking a comfortable off-grid experience.



Immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding landscape while still enjoying modern luxuries and conveniences. The cabin features a well-equipped kitchen, coffee bar, wine bar and it comes complete with all the essentials for preparing delicious meals. Relax on the private deck, where you can do some grilling, soak in the fresh mountain air and savor the tranquil ambiance. Spend your evenings soaking in the wood-fired hot tub while listening to the sound of the river just a few feet away, stargazing or sharing stories around the fire pit, while creating cherished memories with your loved ones.



While nestled in nature, the cabin offers off-grid features such as propane for heating and cooking. A wood burning stove along with an all-natural, mineral based wood fired hot-tub. As well as a reliable backup generator to charge up the 24v batteries that power the cabins lights, tv's and internet. These amenities provide the perfect balance between comfort and a connection to the natural surroundings, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful retreat while still enjoying modern comforts.



Venture out and explore the nearby North Cascades National Park, renowned for its scenic hiking trails, majestic waterfalls, and abundant wildlife. Engage in fishing adventures, embark on scenic drives, embark on kayaking/rafting adventures or simply relax by the river's edge and let the sounds of nature rejuvenate your spirit.

Best VRBO we have stayed at. Very quiet and relaxing. If you need to detox from stress you will need to stay here. Great communication from the host making sure we were loving our stay. Highly recomend!

Perfect unplugged weekend
The property is stunning with unbeatable views! The kitchen had all necessary utensils for cooking and the manual provided for house instructions was very intuitive. I will mention the house is off the grid (WiFi available) so take that into consideration. The host was communicative and we would definitely stay again

North Cascades Fall getaway
We Wanted to spend a couple nights in a cabin on the river while doing hikes in the North Cascades. we felt ourselves to be extremely fortunate to have found Somnia Vera Riverside retreat. The cabin and setting were gorgeous. Everything was carefully thought out by the owners. Communication was exemplary. We travel frequently and this will definitely be on our shortlist of places to come back to soon.

The Perfect Cozy Cabin
This off the grid river cabin was absolutely perfect and even better than we expected! Instructions for the house were simple and easy to follow. We kicked off our North Cascades Hiking Trip with 4 nights here and we didn't want to leave. The hot tub was the best after long days of hiking and very soothing listening to the Cascade River. Every little detail is on point at this adorable cabin and we highly recommend!!!

Great place for a getaway
We loved our stay. The property felt secluded, quiet and relaxing. The only downside was the shower… my 75 year old MIL could not get into it so she was unable to shower for 4 days. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Beautiful Location
We had 4 adults stay for a hiking trip in the North Cascades. The location and cabin were beautiful. We were a little nervous that we wouldn’t know how to work the generator or have other “off-grid” problems. But instructions were sent by text and in the binder and were actually way easier than we had anticipated. It was so nice to come back to this cabin after a full day of hiking or kayaking. And the wifi was clutch after being on the trail all day without cell service.

Oh my goodness' this place is amazing. The kid of place you just sit outside and cry because it is so beautiful. The view is unreal. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is top notch. The whole place is decorated with so much passion and detail that i want to sit and get to know the owners. My husband did not tell me how much this one cost and i am glad because i would have said no! It was worth it though!want to talk

This off the grid house was amazing. The river front, hot tub and location made this house a perfect fit for my wife and I. I have to say this was the best house on the block! What a treat to stay here.

The host has thought of every detail, to make this a great place to base camp while exploring the North Cascades or to simply relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of life. Family of 5 (adults and 3 large teenagers) enjoyed the amazing location, the wood fire hot tub, and hiking Maple Pass in the North Cascades. The home was everthing just as it was advertised. Very Special Place
We stayed here for four nights and had a lovely time. This is truly a very special and relaxing place. We are a family of four with two kids, and loved the river, hot tub etc. The surprisingly fast internet and two tvs were a bonus for kids movies etc. The house has everything you need with lots of small attention to detail. Highly recommend if you want a beautiful and comfortable place to enjoy the North Cascades.

Fantastic place in the woods, just outside the entrance. Must stay in North Cascades National Park!
Loved, loved, loved this place. We have stayed at over 15 VRBO’s this has to be one of the top places we have ever stayed. The remoteness or slight remoteness. The river, the wood heated hot tub. The fact it’s on generator, the Wolf oven, burners and huge indoor griddle. My 16 year old son made delicious egg fried rice. He felt like a Japanese teppanyaki chef. Made s’mores everynight on the outdoor fire pit listening the gorgeous river.

Perfection along the River
If I could give this place a 10 out of 5 I would. It is clearly loved by the owners and super simple and practical. It also has all of the modern amenities with the gas oven and griddle. The owners were super accommodating and communicative and the hot tub was icing on the cake. I’ve bath in the river that was steps away straight to the hot tub that we were able to get to the perfect temperature. A needed disconnect from our very busy lives. We will stay here again. We were looking for a beautiful spot to take my 78 year old mom who loves the woods, but does not get around as well as she used to. This place was gorgeous. We felt like we were right in the woods as the full moon lit up the river. Really special place.

Charming getaway
This cabin was everything I hoped for and more! Cannot reccomend it enough. Ron & Stacey were so welcoming, everything was spotless when we arrived. You can listen to the rive while you sleep and it was a very relaxing stay. Thanks for having us, we'll definitely be back soon!

Great Cabin
Great cabin, beautiful back yard. Hot tub legitimately works!! We wondered how tub heated with wood would work - as well as a regular one. View from the cabin is great. Close (relative to other options) to some of the best hikes. Maple Loop likely best hike we have ever taken. Ron (owner) was fantastic with communication. Only very small suggestion - a drape to pull closed for privacy by the mainfloor bedroom would have been nice. Small point though - place is awesome, would stay again.
