The villa did not live up to the description or photos on the website.

The villa had not been cleaned properly and old, tired bedding and pillows that smelled Were left for us. The barbecue was unusable as it was covered in last seasons olive tree debris. The temporary home of the neighbour sits directly outside the master bedroom window, and although the owner feels I should have just shut my eyes and gone to sleep rather than looking at the view and commenting on this, I feel it is important to know about these things before you travel and pay for a quality villa. The owner is not happy with the full review that I sent him directly, and dismisses much of what I have commented on. He assured me that he arranging for bedding to be changed and some paintwork to be updated so hopefully that will be an improvement. We had a disappointing stay here and an even more disappointing response to the problems experienced. No doubt this review will also cause yet another counter argument.....the customer is not always right!

No need to get into a 'counter argument'. 4 & 5 stars before and after these guests says it all. If you want guests who's holiday is ruined by a one inch tear along the seam on the sunbed cushion, or by their own very late arrival (2am) then these are the guests for you. Rentals manager was always on hand but nothing was mentioned during the first week of their stay. New bedding etc was supplied during their stay even though no guest had had a problem before (we always try our best to keep guests happy). BBQ was indeed dirty as it is situated under an olive tree for shade which unfortunately sheds it's leaves and fruit daily. Regards the neighbour's property. It does not sit directly outside the bedroom window and does not impeed on the villa's privacy at all.

Great Location

We had a great holiday, the location was great as it was an easy journey to the major cities, Seville, Cordoba etc plus we went into the mountains to explore El Torcal ( children would love exploring there). The villa is very well equipped and close to a really pretty traditional town and we had some great really affordable meals at La Vina, a really short drive away. Loved the welcome pack, especially the wine, the outside space is amazing and the WiFi was brilliant working all over the villa. Donna was there to greet us and went out of her way to make sure we had a great time........and we did! Thanks so much Donna.

Why didn't you say so at the time? Because it's lies! Leaving a bad review because I had to ask for the 200€ security is not fair. You paid for 10 guests and 14 arrived. You either spilt drinks or urinated in 2 seperate beds which is why I has to claim the security deposit. Disgusting behaviour and an unfair disgusting review you have left.

Bon emplacement pour rayonner entre Séville, Grenade, Cadiz, Cordoue. Des points à améliorer à la villa en intérieur (lit, électricité), mais l’extérieur est très agreable.

disappointing, not clean and not as comfortable as it looks

We were excited to have rented this local country villa, looking so pretty on these pictures, but we ended up leaving earlier. I just saw more reviews mentioning complaints, so please read the reviews carefully, before you make a decision. The house itself is lovely, but up for a renovation, I would say. Only two bedrooms had proper airconditioning and in one a new one was installed, but it produced a bad smell. We didn't feel that all matrasses were comfortable, but that might be a personal preference. One of the bathrooms was not clean (hair of other people still there), the drain didn't work well and in the mornings there was a musty smell. Unfortunately the internet didn't work properly as well. Also the swimming pool didn't seem to be fresh. When we tried to add some fresh water with the pipe that was laying in the garden, we even got a penalty for it. We decided not to wait for improvement, because we felt there were too many things adding up and we only had a short holiday, so we left to a different location. It would have been a nice suggestion to get some of the rent back, but in stead we ended up in sending many emails, in which I was told to better read the description etc. Not a good after care either.

Please read 5 star reviews before and after these guests stay to prove how their negative comments are not fair! The comment above which reads "The house itself is lovely, but up for a renovation, I would say." is a massive contradiction and shows these guests need a reality check. These guests arrived at the villa and mentioned the area being 'rural' before anything else. As they were being shown round the house they turned on every air-con unit including the bedrooms. When they realised there was no air-con unit in the 4th bedroom they went mad. Even though they were only using three bedrooms. Nothing made sense as the Homeaway listing explains that not all bedrooms have air-con. A couple of days later I received an email stating they were leaving early! No phone call or any explanation, just an email. So I immediately phoned the client to ask why. Internet issues and bathroom smells were mentioned so I advised that a maintenance man would attend to check out the issues but the guests weren't interested, they had already booked a new villa - on the coast in Malaga - about 200km from where they were. It was obvious that they had booked my villa without realising where the location is...In rural Seville, peaceful and quiet. They decided to do many things during their short stay at the villa which cost me money to put right....things that they 'thought needed doing' like topping up the swimming pool until it was overflowing using town water which is illegal and expensive. They asked for a refund but I declined as they decided to leave without giving me any chance to remedy any of the 'issues'.

Rust en ruimte

We verbleven twee weken met vier (deels vijf) personen in Villa Flores. Met ons gezelschap hadden we derhalve heel veel ruimte tot onze beschikking, zowel binnen als buiten, en dat beviel uitstekend. We hebben vooral genoten van de zitruimte op de veranda en van de mooie keuken. De ligging is zeer landelijk en rustig (5 minuten rijden van La Puebla de Cazalla). Het is een eldorado voor vogelliefhebbers. Zowel overdag als 's avonds hebben we erg genoten van alle geluiden van de natuur om ons heen. Niet eerder hoorden we hop, koekoek, uil en heel veel andere vogels gedurende één vakantie. We hadden de eerste week pech met het weer (eind april/begin mei), zodat we pas de tweede week gebruik konden maken van het (grote!) zwembad. Die eerste week hadden we ook wat technische problemen: een breuk in de waterleiding en tot twee keer toe problemen met een van de geisers. Maar door de inzet van beheerder Mark en de tuinman kwam uiteindelijk alles in orde. De douche bij het zwembad deed het niet, maar Mark gaf ons toegang tot de - van buitenaf bereikbare - doucheruimte van de casita. Een voortreffelijke oplossing! Aan het eind van de tweede week was er een probleem met de kwaliteit van het zwembadwater. De tuinman gooide steeds grotere hoeveelheden chemicaliën in het water, maar echt beter werd het niet. Deze ongemakken mochten evenwel de pret niet drukken. Ons enige èchte punt van kritiek betreft het feit dat bij aankomst de villa weliswaar op het eerste gezicht schoon en opgeruimd is, maar bij nadere beschouwing blijken sommige gedeeltes toch niet heel erg schoon (stof en vuil onder meubels, in hoeken, op doucheranden e.d.; haren in het doucheputje; dode vliegen). Er is een prima grote supermarkt in Marchena (12 minuten rijden). In La Puebla is een Cash & Carry en wat kleinere supermarkten. Goede restaurants zijn moeilijk te vinden. We stonden regelmatig voor een dichte deur (gesloten, of geen kok beschikbaar), maar misschien lag dat aan het seizoen. We aten goed bij Casa Carillo (Marchena) en bij Benitez (La Puebla). In Meson Corbones (La Puebla) genoten we vooral van de lokale sfeer. Resumerend: een prima huis voor een fijne en rustige vakantie. Ons advies: een keer een grote schoonmaak en goed letten op de technische faciliteiten.
