Lake Gogebic Private Cabin Hotel Room

Freshly Remodeled private room cabin on Beautiful Lake Gogebic. This room offers your own private area perfect for tourists, snowmobilers, fisherman, or hunters. Amazing view of the west shore of Lake Gogebic, with the lake 50 feet from your front window. Best rate you will find on the lake! This is a hotel room style room 1 queen bed/ 1 bath and a futon queen pull out couch. This unit is part of a fourplex, however the majority of the time this room is the only room which is hosted for the building. All docks, swim gear, fire pit etc are free for guests to use as well as parking. All bedding and towels included in the stay as well as mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. For parties more than 2, please ask for additional bedding for the futon.

Lovely Get-Away
My wife and I enjoyed a few nights at the end of our honeymoon on Lake Gogebic. It was a great location--we drove down to the Porkies one day, enjoyed the lake, and loved hearing loons at night with our window open.

My husband and I were invited to camp on Lake Gogebic with some friends who go up with their trailer every year. We are not campers and the cabin was perfect for us to relax in at night or in the morning before we joined our friends at their campsite. Sitting on the porch each morning watching the water was a delight!

There was no air conditioner and the box fan that was provided couldn’t be used in the outlet where the TV was. Didn’t really see the hosts around to let them know the outlet was defective. Tub needs anti slip surface. Could provide some basic toiletries. Lots of mosquitoes and moths came into the room. Otherwise, it was very clean and cute. The lake was beautiful.

Snowmobiling Paradise!
Great little place right on the lake! Easy to get on the lake for sledding! We could park our snowmobiles and see them from our room. Warm room and comfortable bed. Extra towels and plenty of hot water!

I stayed here during the first week of october and it was fantastic! Very clean, amazing views from the cabin, and in the middle of many attractions. Hosts were very kind and responsive to any communication. Additionally, this cabin was easy to get access as well when we got there (i.e. ramps can be used instead of stairs) Highly recommended. No complaints.

Great little place on the water!!
We were looking for a place with a view since we have a toddler and wanted to enjoy the scenery after baby went to bed. Beautiful view straight out the lake. We spent the whole day at Porcupine Mountains, this is a great place if you are visiting the Porkies. The room was perfect and host was a super fast responded and gave great recommendations for dinner.

Peaceful spot on Lake Gogebic
Wonderful property ran by amazing host Dominic. A lot of wonderful things to do in the area, especially if you like to hike the backwoods. We rented one of the smaller room/hotel type cabins. Two adults and a child and still had enough room to "chill" at night. Would definitely go again! Thanks to Dom for a wonderful time!

Wife and I came up snowmobiling for a long weekend. Was a nice little room, I wouldn’t do more than 2 in this room, but it was clean and had a nice TV…. Bed was comfy as well. I’d stay here again!

Good clean property that met my needs
I only needed a place to lay my head for two nights while ice fishing the lake and this served it well. I didn’t fully know what to expect as the listing isn’t very descriptive. What you get is one twin bed, a small sofa and a bath in what is likely under 200 square feet of space. It is one unit in what I believe is a small fourplex. You do have to go up, then down some wooden stairs to get to the entry on the lake side of the unit. The stairs were a bit slippery with packer snow stuck to them. I used the shovel they had provided to scrap them a bit cleaner. The unit was very clean, had cute cabin decor and felt comfortable and homey. Apple Maps won’t get you to the address but google maps gets you closer. Although the listed states it will accommodate three, I wouldn’t recommend anymore than a couple. It did have a mini fridge and a coffee pot, but keep in mind there is no kitchenette or food prep or storage space. This works if you’re planning to eat your meals out as I was on your trip. As long as you’re ok with small, it’s a good value for the money with a pretty view of the lake.

Only issue was the address, received an email with a physical address which ended up being down the road. No worries though, just google Cast and Blast Lodge then that will take you right there. Once arrived it was great, super quiet and beautiful scenery. The cabin was very clean and had the essentials that we needed. FYI you do have access to the fire pit outside so that was nice to enjoy as well. Will definitely keep this lodging in mind for future U.P. Trips!

We were looking for a place close to the State campground because our kids were camping there. We brought our kayaks in hopes of doing a little fishing, we went out but I believe we misjudged the size of the lake. It was beautiful to kayak but the fishing was not ideal. We would stay again and recommend to friends, we were very happy with our choice. We were happy with everything and the owners were really nice

We needed an extra bed and shower while visiting friends at their nearby lake cabin. The accommodations were simple, small, clean, comfortable, and worked well for us.
