Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I enjoyed a few nights at the end of our honeymoon on Lake Gogebic. It was a great location--we drove down to the Porkies one day, enjoyed the lake, and loved hearing loons at night with our window open.

We are not campers and the cabin was perfect for us to relax in at night or in the morning before we joined our friends at their campsite. Sitting on the porch each morning watching the water was a delight!

There was no air conditioner and the box fan that was provided couldn’t be used in the outlet where the TV was. Didn’t really see the hosts around to let them know the outlet was defective. Tub needs anti slip surface. Could provide some basic toiletries. Lots of mosquitoes and moths came into the room. Otherwise, it was very clean and cute. The lake was beautiful.

Very nice place for two adults .. We parked sleds at the cabin and got on the lake to ride .

Snowmobiling Paradise!
Publié le 8 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat little place right on the lake! Easy to get on the lake for sledding! We could park our snowmobiles and see them from our room. Warm room and comfortable bed. Extra towels and plenty of hot water!
