Our room could use some updating. Carpet had rolls in it and needs to be stretched. Coffee Pot water well was dirty. Fan did not work. The rooms are overrated and expensive. The bed was comfortable. The view was nice from our room (river view). There is only one elevator in the whole hotel and it is very small. The location was excellent and parking was easily accessible.

Lafayette Hotel is a beautiful early 20th century hotel in the charming city of Marietta. We had a wonderful visit!

The property itself was unique and the fact that it was set in the 50s and we appreciate older buildings and enjoy our stay in such a place. Didn’t like ?
There was nothing we didn’t like about the place. It was better than expected.

Lovely hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food.
Negatives-Noisy street traffic at night, little bathroom space, no MW or frig.
All that said we would stay at the Lafayette again.

Love the Antique furniture but the room was very small and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Window air conditioner was so noisy you couldn’t hear the tv. Overall our stay was pleasant.

Very quaint. So glad they kept the original ambience of the era it was built. Plenty of sitting areas throughout the hotel to sit, relax, gather, and gab
