OK, I guess
Publié le 8 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty is remote and very quiet. You could hear coyotes at night. Outside vegetation was very dry, not like shown in picture.
Inside was OK, I guess. Wifi worked great. Fireplace was very nice and easy to use. DVD remote did not work at all.
Only two very thin towels were available (yes, I did look in dryer and upstairs as instructed). Kitchen wasn't stocked very well. 2 wine glasses, 2 forks, etc. Owner did say to contact him with any concerns. I just don't feel I should have to do that. I'm on vacation, not in charge of quality control. The owner should know what is available in the home. That being said if you are looking for a place that is remote, takes dogs and don't mind these inconveniences, you may like this place. Owner was very responsive to questions and booking was easy.

All the deficiencies mentioned have already been corrected. We have also taken steps to ensure such deficiencies do not occur again.

Not to my standards

No Internet on tv, which was blocked on purpose so we couldn't enjoy any movies, they had DVD movies and DVD player but didn't had a remote so that didn't work. 3 forkes only door was annoying it kept locking us out.

As in every case such as this, they never reached out to us so that any issues can be resolved. They simply post a review (which came across as quite ludicrous due to poor grammar) and then just go away without attempting to contact us during their stay. If you have any concerns we recommend reaching out to us so we can resolve it immediately. All the issues mentioned in this review have been resolved. We provide DirecTV not streaming services. We suggest bringing your own personal streaming device if you need to watch streaming services.

Wonderful visit
Publié le 17 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayLovely cabin close to Mariposa and Yosemite. Very comfortable furnishings and bed with well equipped kitchen. Relaxing front porch with ample chairs. A telescope to look at the dark sky was a fun addition.
Would stay again.

Cool property
Publié le 13 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayLocation was great. Enough away from town, but close enough to get there in about 15 minutes. About an hour outside Yosemite, so it made our stay great. The stairs inside were quite steep and the wood floors were kinda slick for dogs and maybe the elderly. I would recommend this property.

Tolles Haus in schöner Lage
Publié le 6 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem Ferienhaus. Die Lage ist einmalig. Auf der Veranda hörte man abends Kojoten heulen und konnte den Sternenhimmel beobachten. Zudem recht nah an Mariposa gelegen - und damit an Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeien und dem Eingang zum Yosemite NP. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut. Lediglich die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig. Es gab einige Haare im Bett und in der Dusche.

Great get-away.
Publié le 20 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayNice place with a short drive into Mariposa. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and hearing owls and coyotes during the night. Comfortable seating and bedding. The 45 minute drive into Yosemite was not difficult.
