Un lieu historique dans la campagne anglaise

Très belle chambre avec vue magnifique. On a demandé du pain à la réception et ils nous ont refusé en répondant que la demande était atypique. Donc l’accueil pourrait être mieux comme aussi le petit déjeuner.

Che peccato! Una struttura magnifica in un luogo splendido. Purtroppo il servizio, dal concierge alle cameriere veramente non all’altezza (invio foto di come hanno lasciato il pigiama 😳). Nella lista dei ristoranti del circondario proponevano locali chiusi da anni. L’Ascensore è rimasto rotto da quando siamo arrivati al terzo giorno quando siamo andati via, eravamo al terzo piano. Cena con ottimo food e buon servizio ad un prezzo veramente troppo alto. Colazione solo “a la carte” lentissima e un po’ confusionaria. Siamo arrivati di giovedì e andati via di sabato, tutti i pomeriggi e tutte le sere matrimoni in loco (non comunicati in precedenza) quindi impossibile riposare il pomeriggio e la sera prima di mezzanotte. SPA molto bella ma beato chi riesce a prenotare un trattamento (fine del servizio alle 18:00) Occhio i minori di 16 anni possono utilizzare la piscina solo dalle 14:00 alle 17:00 Non prendono American Express… No aria condizionata percui lasciano finestre aperte in camera e la sera c’è la caccia ai ragni e agli insetti che sono entrati Anche qui, come in molti alberghi in UK, miscelatore in bagno inesistente la temperatura dell’acqua si ottiene come nell’ottocento..

Dear Attilio,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review after your recent stay and I am truly sorry to read your stay did not live up to your expectations!Our concierge team are in constant communication with local restaurant's within the vicinity of the hotel and we frequently book guest's into restaurant's as well as arranging a driver for any of our guest's. Our breakfast team work incredibly hard to ensure our guest's are served on time and it is a smooth service which is why the front of house team take breakfast bookings upon check in to ensure of this, unfortunately when our guest's do not stick to their allocated breakfast time's then this will cause a natural delay in service. Regarding the spa, It is made very clear prior to check in and upon booking a reservation to book in spa treatment's as the spa are incredibly busy which is why it is suggested to our guest's to book a treatment as soon as possible should they wish to have one. Regarding the bedroom's, the majority of our bedrooms are traditional in style such as the one you booked and will not have air conditioning, however, we do have multiple bedrooms that have air conditioning and had we been made aware of this at the time then we would have happily relocated you!Thank you for taking the time to leave a review after your recent stay and once again it is a shame to read your stay did not live up to your expectations and that nothing was brought to our attention at the time.Kind regards,FranklynReception Manager

Nice big room although really needs an update. Furniture and decor looking dated. Friendly staff, nice spa, good breakfast and very good value for money compared to newer spa hotels
