A great riad in the heart of Marrakesh. Extremely comfortable and welcoming. Fantastic showers and very clean.

Très bien situé et personnel agréable et souriant. Cependant, il y avait beaucoup de bruit, dû à des groupes...

- Attention- The hostel is located within a small hidden alley, and often has a group of scammers located in front of the door. Beware of this, they have scammed me and my friend, and one other guest (that we know of ) on the same day that we have arrived. The hostel is completely aware of this happening. As a matter of fact, they blamed us 'the guests' for paying the group of 6 guys that surrounded us. The least they could do in our opinion is to be professional, show empathy and/or do something about it. The other guest that I referred to previously, was scammed in front of an employee. We have been told that this happens frequently (strangely all the reviews we've read were positive) and heard that some stories were far scarier than ours, so please be aware. If you really insist on staying there, tell them to pick you up from the main square. I however would not advise you to, not only because of the scammers but because of how the hostel handles these type of situations.

Hi there - thanks for your review - not of the hostel, but of outside the hostel. But let's be clear here - the faux guides as they are known are not located at the front door of the hostel as the whole point is that they will 'accompany' you to help you find the hostel and then demand money at the door. It is for this exact reason that when we send you a confirmation email, we offer you youtube directions, taxi transfer information, our local phone number, and offer to collect you from a cafe in the main square - none of which you chose to take us up on. This is of course, your choice, but is certainly a way of avoiding faux guides upon arrival in a city which is renowned for being full of anonymous alleyways. Happy future travels!
