Avis Villa LE PATIO, villa for event in Marrakech

The Villa was amazing, set in beautiful grounds with a very large pool and outdoor dining area which was great for our family group of 18 people. Hamza who looked after us at the villa worked very hard and he and his staff cooked us delicious meals, although his English is not good so you need to speak some French. The villa itself is a good 40 minutes from the city of Marrakech and about 50 minutes from the Airport. The villa Hosts (Frank and Hanane) arranged all our taxis for us with a company in Marrakech (Oufan Tours) However my advice would be to organise your own return transport to the airport for your flights home. 11 of us were left stranded at the villa waiting for our transport that we had paid for through the hosts, however when they eventually turned up over one and half hours late we ended up missing our flight home, and then had to pay out for 11 new flights 2 days later plus added extras like parking etc. We are still trying to get our compensation money back from the hosts who are saying that it was the transport companies fault however the host made the booking for us and took our money for the trip so we would say its the responsibility of the hosts. Unfortunately it was a very sad and annoying ending to what had been a fantastic week at the villa
