Great house but..
We had fun at this home, all 11 of us. Very comfy beds and furniture. Great kitchen. We cooked a lot since there were so many of us. House close to grocery store which was nice. Only 15-20 minutes to Biltmore and Asheville. Lots of firewood for sitting outside at night around the fire pit. Also plenty of paper products in house. Pots and pans could stand replacing, we were glad we had brought a big griddle along. Dryer didn’t work during our stay. Also, coffee carafe was broken so we bought a new one and left it there. Again great house but painting and upkeep of this beautiful home would make it a 5 star.

Wonderful property with amenities like a keurig, pots and pans, plenty of dishes and mugs, shampoo and conditioner, etc! The hot tub was excellent, plenty of wood for the fire pit. Plenty of towels and blankets for colder nights. Mar Hills has a quaint downtown area with the friendliest people you’ll ever meet (only 1 mile away from the house). We found a fantastic bakery, delicious Italian, ice creamery, and more! Property manager checked in with us and tried their best to make our stay a comfortable one. We will definitely be back.

Perfect mountain home getaway!
Me and several of my friends stayed here for my birthday and had a great weekend. The home has plenty of space for lots of activities. I loved that there was more than one "living room" so that we could spread out. The mountain view from the hot tub was spectacular. The property management company was very responsive to any and all questions. 5/5 would recommend.

Fantastic Property, Spectacular Service
We stayed here with 7 adults and 4 kids and just loved it. Plenty of space for everyone, 2 bedrooms on 2nd and 3rd floor and 3 bedrooms in the basement. Hot tub was wonderful, and everything was prepped to perfection.

The house is set up like a 'mother-on-law' suite, the entire basement had 2 full bathrooms and smaller kitchen with sitting area. The upstairs kitchen was well equipped. Had 2 great balconies and great firepit area. Plenty of parking for our 4 cars. Close to grocery store and gas station. Most things (Sliding Rock, Chimney Rock, Downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estate) to do were about 30-60 mins away. Only negative to say would be a house needs a larger table for more to sit together at one time. Although we were afraid of the noise ordinance noted at check in - we met several of the neighbors and they were all very nice and friendly.

Perfect distance from Asheville
This was one of the cleanest Rentals I have stayed in. A lot of very private feeling wings of the home, and we woke up to an incredible sunrise. As a side note, I left behind a very important family heirloom and the owners went above and beyond to get it back to me in Cleveland, Ohio. We hope to get back there soon.

Beautiful home. Well appointed. Comfortable & great for our family. We had snow so that made it even better! Only issue was the code to unlock the door did not work & it took about 45 mins to get help but other than that, the weekend was great.

Great Home
Our family had a death in the family with the service in Asheville. We had family in from all over the US (Iowa, Texas, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Florida). The home was great for all of us to stay together! We could eat at the home, hang out, had tons of stuff for the kids to do, and several areas for hanging out. For a family that just wants to be together it was perfect!

Great stay
The house was very clean and well kept. It was in a quiet neighborhood and easy to get to supermarkets and Asheville. View was amazing and the hot tub great! The only thing I couldn’t tell from pictures is how close the neighbors were. It was fine since we didn’t plan on making tons of noise but was surprised it wasn’t more private. And not many local restaurant choices. Other than that it was a great stay. The property managers were extremely responsive and kind! Would definitely rent again.

Excellent Place for Visiting the Asheville Area
We really enjoyed our recent stay in Mars Hill! The house was beautiful and well maintained, and had plenty of fun things to do to keep us occupied. The location also provided easy access to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. All in all, a perfect place to stay for visiting the Asheville area!

Absolutely amazing
I have stayed at many VRBO properties, both in the mountains and near Disney. This was by far my favorite house! The top porch quickly became a popular spot to enjoy a book or take an afternoon nap! The view is gorgeous, the amenities exceed the norm, and we had plenty of room for our large party! The owners were super sweet and checked in via text to make sure we were happy. The neighbors were friendly and the area was packed with things to do within a 15-30 min drive! Will definitely be back! The upstairs bathtub is a dream!
