Great Brothers Weekend

It was absolutely perfect for our group. We had a great time and plenty of room. We spent hours on the front porch alone, talking drinking a cold one and reminiscing.

Cabin getaway
Publié le 24 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is our second time staying here. The cabin is a 25 minute drive from Starved Rock and Matheissien Park, but has the great amenities of home. The owner supplies everything for a comfortable stay: bedding, pillows, blankets, towels, kitchen cooking wares, utensils, paper goods ( including toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, and plastic ware), a charcoal grill, a large TV with DVD players, and tons of DVDS to borrow. It has AC, which was key, because it was in the 90’s for our stay. They also offer a fire pit. My only complaint…there was no firewood. If you are looking for a family friendly cabin, close to Starved Rock…this is it.
