Publié le 11 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayHorrible smell from the water. Excuse was Marthasville's water table and the host had nothing to do with it. It should have been disclosed in the description. I don't understand how this wasn't an issue for others that reviewed. It was almost unbearable. When confronted Tami said that they live nearby and also deal with it. I should not have to pay to "deal" with it. Ant traps and mouse traps throughout the cabin. In other reviews she replied back that it was a cabin and that should be expected. Even though it was winter there were flies and wasps throughout the cabin.TV is not a smart TV so if you do not have Direct TV you're only going to get about five local channels. The lighting is poor and her excuse to others is it's a cabin. There is plenty of room for more lamps (we moved one from the bedroom to the living room) and lots of lightbulbs to be replaced. No outdoor lighting other than one dinky porch light. Complete blackness otherwise. No visible smoke detectors on the first floor. No blankets anywhere in the place, expected to use the comforter that our dog kept sniffing the edges at the floor. No trash bags in kitchen, not even in the cans, no sharp kitchen knife-had to cut meat with a bread knife, barely any kitchen supplies (bring everything), no snow shovel (snowed 4"), two rolls of TP for nine nights, no dish liquid and on and on and on. Threshold in foyer was a hazard. Tami was very curt in her answers maybe even snarky. I can't wait to see response.

Annual Trip for Friends

Weekend Getaway
Publié le 6 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was so cute! The fire pit was exactly what we wanted. The beds were a little more firm for my liking but to each their own! Everything was clean and the listing was exactly as expected. I could not find any extra blankets. So the next person that’s stays bring your own blankets! I would definitely recommend this cabin!

Great Place to Stay!

My travel partner and I were there for an event nearby, and didn't take full advantage of the property had to offer. Could definitely see staying there with the family and having a great time. It was quiet and peaceful, and the catfish were cool.

Honeymoon

yearly family outing
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwaylarge cabin was laid out nice for family. furniture was top of the line. enjoyed the kayaks and firepit. enjoyed the lake and large property. planning on going again.

Great place for family gathering

Beds very comfortable.
I wish the outside seating was more comfortable. We spent time on the back porch because the weather was beautiful with a great view of the lake

1st Cousin getaway

Bedrooms were nice sized and the living area/kitchen was comfortable and plenty of room. The girls thought the place was awesome. I have posted our visit on facebook and have had several people wanting information on the property. Would stay there again,

Dark and gloomy
