Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWonderful place to stay south of Annapolis. Yes, it’s an older cottage, with all the requisite quirks you’d expect. That’s part of its charm, just as much as the sunset views and peaceful neighborhood that feels like you’re on a small island.

Publié le 15 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWas disappointed at the cleanliness of the property (mice droppings). Bed was very uncomfortable due to two mattresses being put together. We took out the AC filters and cleaned them. This home has great potential, just needs a little updating.

Quiet retreat with short drive to D.C.

Small quaint house tucked away by the water was very peaceful to come home to after a busy day touring D.C. Many things to do nearby with just a short drive. We enjoyed the kayaks that came with the house with a 10 minute paddle to a fun restaurant.
Mary was very responsive to my messages and a very kind person.

Peaceful!
Publié le 7 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a wonderful cottage! I stayed a week in July, while taking a sailing class with the Annapolis Naval Sailing Association in nearby Galesville. The only potential drawback is lack of central AC, but I ALWAYS felt very cool and comfortable thanks to all the window units. The king(!) bed is super comfy, and I loved spending time on the porch, living room and dock - all very lovely spaces. The neighbors are friendly, host super-helpful, and sunsets AMAAAAAZING. Looking forward to staying here again soon.
