Nice location

Didn't disappoint on that count.
The beautiful gardens and house were a bonus :)

Pleasant with gorgeous garden walks
Posted Mar. 22, 2024 on HomeAwayIt was most enjoyable. The only quibble was that some of the kitchen utensils weren't the best, making it difficult to prepare vegetables!

Love this place, so rewinding and switching off from busy scenery to such beautifully scenery from our cottage window and walking through such beautiful garden. We rode our mountains bikes close-by- A W E S O M E

A Perfect Tonic
Posted Sep. 1, 2023 on HomeAwaySummer or Winter Flaxmere is the perfect place to unwind and leave the troubles of your particular world at the gate.
A warm welcome from Penny, a log fire and acres of beautiful gardens to wander though. Add good friends, great food and a bottle or two of your favourite wine and you have the perfect weekend. Truly, a tranquil oasis for the soul. Thank you Penny, we will be back again soon.
