Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Reel Retreat was the perfect place for our extended family to get together. The location is perfect on the river and near everything you need. We happen to be traveling there right after a hurricane passed through and the owner communicated with us immediately and we really appreciate all the effort! I highly recommend this place!

Has more than what is listed
Publié le 30 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe have family out from Arizona and wanted to bring them to matagorda. They loved it and the home is larger than expected, plenty of things for entertainment. Way more than what is listed. It was very comfortable and very clean, minutes from town and minutes to the best and best of all right on the water. We definitely will be returning to this rental.

Not a good place for little ones because of stairs and layout

Sorry to hear that the neighbors were distracting. Next time feel free to contact me and let me know of the issue. I can let the owner of the neighboring property know and help rectify the issue. In regard to children at the property, we’ve hosted many families who were very happy with the arrangement. While there are stairs, they lead up to a dedicated family area for children with games and a play space for the kids. Your comments are much appreciated and we hope you’ll visit again.

Excellent house!
Publié le 1 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayI have stayed at many properties in Matagorda and this is by far my favorite! I actually went to rebook for August and sadly it is booked for my dates. Blayne is a great host and super responsive with questions. We had a great time and will definitely stay here in the future!

Publié le 7 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had an amazing stay, the owner is very nice and responds quickly with any questions you have. House is beautiful and well maintained. The bedrooms are a bit cramped with king size beds but we didn’t mind at all. We will be booking again!

Great house right on the river!
Publié le 13 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayOur favorite part is probably the backyard, patio. It's covered, nice and cool and there's a firepit in the yard. We've stayed here multiple times and like it every time.

2nd Time Staying
Publié le 12 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis was our second time staying here and just as before we enjoyed it. Everything that was needed was provided except for trash bags, but wasnt a huge deal. The ropes on one of the porch swings broke when my husband sat in it but other than that everything was great.
