A stay over in Sassi
Publié le 5 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayEnjoyed our few nights in Sassi’s beautifull surroundings and great atmosphere. Almost forgot about the neighbours’ dog already who kept us awake during the nights. I would check upfront next time if that dog is still there.

Exceptional Property and Host!
Publié le 29 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayMatera is an incredible city and this was the perfect place to stay! We found Le Luminarie Sassi to be perfectly appointed in every way. There were plenty of amenities: lovely coffee and teas as well as beverages, snacks, breakfast goodies and complimentary wine from our kind and helpful host, Lorella. The bed was comfortable, kitchen items and appliances for all needs, and shower was beautiful as pictured. The location has an incredible view and is close to everything within walking distance. We loved our stay and definitely recommend this property!

Special experience in Matera
Publié le 12 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe arrived not really knowing about Matera and once we turned the corner on the bus and saw what the Sassi was all about our jaws dropped! Then to discover that we would be staying in the heart of it in a beautiful cave home was the beginning of a magical three days. Easy to park following host’s directions to the public car park and an easy bus ride to the end of the line in heart of it all. Good instructions to find the place and so tastefully and well decorated. A lovely welcome gift of wine and snacks for our anniversary was really special. The bed was super comfortable- best sleep so far in Italy. The cave shower was amazing and all the touches of lighting made a cozy hang out on our one rainy day. Matera has so many great restaurants and interesting places to discover we easily filled our three days. The hike to the caves is wonderful and the whole vibe was sacred and elevated. This place is a gem and very well priced for the value you get. I would recommend to stay!

Great apartment in the heart of Sasso Caveoso
