Dear Andrea, such a disappointment to get your review. Really not deserved. During your stay you has never mentioned anything about ants...you stayed two nights...why didn't you tell us??!! Such a mystery.We have 9,8 score for the cleaning...but reading your review seems like we are a nightmare hotel. Please... The breakfast offer boasts savory and sweet products, carefully selected and rigorously fresh and freshly baked by us. Most of the products are homemade by us. There are the classic products of the continental and Italian breakfast, in fact, you can choose among eggs, cold cuts and cheeses, very fresh dairy products, taralli, rustic savory pies, 3 types of bread, including PGI Matera bread, focaccia, tapas , 5 types of brioches (such as croissants), a dozen different types of cakes, tarts, donuts, muffins, fresh seasonal fruit, white and fruit yoghurts, 4 types of biscuits, rusks, 5 types of jams, fruit juices, detox herbal teas, teas, coffee-based drinks made and served by the staff. For 8 rooms there are 3 people dedicated only to breakfast, who continuously supplement the buffet, set the table and clear away, and serve hot drinks on request. Everybody is always enthusiastic about our breakfast, we are so surprised you were not. As concerning the fully booked terrace of the panoramic Bistrot, we remind you that one week before your arrival we usually send an email to our guests talking about our bistrot, and you’ve got this email from us, informing about the bistrot, its time of closing and opening, menu and our suggestions to reserve a table, what a pity you didn’t notice this… Please consider that the only people able to reserve table after 6pm are the guests of the hotel, external people can get table only upon arrival, if there are tables available. We also remind you that you enjoyed welcome drinks on the terrace as soon as you arrived, and the breakfast is served in the bistrot, with the possibility to have it indoor (in a excavated cave) or outdoor (on the panoramic terrace). If your wish was to see the sunset, when on the first evening you’ve noticed that all the terrace was full, why didn’t you tell us and reserve a table for the following evening? We would have reserved a table for you with pleasure.In the terrace the bistrot has only 10 tables, the hotel owns 8 rooms, how can the bistrot (with a different business management) should survive if it would let 8 tables reserved to the hotel? There is always a table reserved to the hotel guests, but it would be impossible to reserve the 80% of the outdoor occupancy always and only to the hotel guests.Regards
