Publié le 18 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe tend to seek out places that are quiet and isolated but not too far from amenities. Waterfall Cottage fitted that bill very well indeed and was very peaceful, has everything you need while away and most of the Peak District places we wanted to visit were 25 mins or less away. Lovely local walk in Lumsdale too. The microbrewery next door also makes a lovely Golden ale. So we very much enjoyed our stay.

What a place.

Perfect location for family with kids.
Felt safe to let the children explore in their own which have the adults much needed rest.
Host was lovely and helpful. Goodies and wine in arrival muchly appreciated.
The weather also helped but the cottage remained cool even at night.
Only thing missing was some BBQ tools but made do with a knife and wooden spoon combination.
