Lovely Stay
Publié le 11 oct. 2021 sur HotelsWe had a lovely stay at The Pig of Lead last week. The whole experience was great, from the warm welcome, the superbly comfortable room to the delicious breakfasts. It is a great base from which to explore the area, I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Excellent Stay - First Class Breakfast

Hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was first class, all the produce was of good quality and nicely prepared/presented. Bedroom was very comfortable and clean, bathroom was excellent with choice of bath (after a long day walking) and shower for wake me up after good nights sleep. Car park is secure behind electrically operated gates. Will definitely return if visiting the area again.

Great hosts and superb breakfasts.

Spotlessly clean, full of character and our hosts Julie and John were superb even giving us a lift up a very steep hill to the village pub which was also excellent. Wonderful breakfasts as well. It's 6 out of 5 from us.

It was originally a pub and converted to a pleasant B and B. The landlady was a local and was very helpful. The breakfast was great.

Good breakfast location excellent for where we wanted to go Nice pub in Bonsal for good pub grub Expensive pub in Cromford for something special Good fish and chips in Cromford

Publié le 21 juill. 2019 sur HotelsLike some others who have reviewd room 2, we found the wash water tepid at best. Loss of sleep due to the noise from quarry lorries which start at 4 o'clock in the morning and the motorbikes on this busy road junction spoiled our stay.
That said, we could not praise our hosts enough for thier generosity and willingness to please. I do hope they can find a work around to the noise.
