We found the staff very friendly and welcoming.
The room was warm, comfortable and clean. I particularly liked the shower.

Lovely BnB for a cosy stay in a great location!
Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HotelsWe had a wonderful 1-night stay at the Family Tree. Our room was clean, cosy and decorated to a very high standard. The beds were very comfy and the hot chocolate provided was a welcome treat after a day of walking. We really enjoyed the breakfast with yogurt, fruit, pastry and cereal to begin and a great choice of hot food options to follow. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, allowing us to pick up our keys earlier than expected so we could enjoy a day exploring without having to pop back and check-in. The location was ideal for a nice walk along the canal path to Matlock, and conveniently close to the train station too. Overall this was a 10/10 stay and we'd love to come back in the future!

Perfect spot!! The room was incredibly clean and well kept, the breakfast was amazing - I can’t fault it in anyway and would definitely stay here again.

Great place, great staff, wonderful breakfast!
Publié le 17 août 2024 sur HotelsWe stayed for two nights as we attended a wedding close by. We stayed in ‘Sycamore’ and the room and bathrooom were lovely - the bathroom had a shower and a bath. The rooms look out over a courtyard and although non-guests can use this area, it was surprisingly quiet. Special mention has to go to the staff and the breakfast, both of which were exceptional.
