The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the train station and is located across the road from a food street with lots of restaurants. 15 minute walk to the castle. Clean hotel.

I am very happy with my stay at Richmond Hotel in Matsumoto. I will highly consider other hotels under their management going forward.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking direct at the hotel.
All places we visited (including the castle) are easy walkable direct from the hotel.

Relatively quiet at night with nothing much to do. Most shops closed early.

Posted May 11, 2024 on HotelsHelpful staff, took a little explanation, but I managed to make a local phone call at the desk. Clean and comfortable rooms, I liked the mini-desk in my room, which is very useful.
Breakfast is sufficient and have a good variety.

Pros:
Convenient and spacious.
Cons:-
Provided Information is little confusing. For example parking is mentioned by P1 - P4 on papers, but it was not mentioned in actual.
