Waterfront cottage Maurapas
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cottage was just as described and we enjoyed our stay very much. We loved that the launch was minutes away and we could tether the boat right outside our door. A big plus was the ability to buy ethanol free gas on the water dockside just a bit over a mile away at the new restaurant/bar Reno’s on the River..

First time for everything
Publié le 1 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I have used VRBO on many occasions. We have had a few small issues but nothing that the owner hasn’t been able to fix right away. This experience has definitely left us with a sour taste. Booked and payed some time around December or January for my wife’s birthday I got her tickets for the Rock the Country music festival. March 10th I received a message from the owner that the location was booked. I didn’t think anything of it because I have had owners let me know before that the booking was confirmed. The evening of April 4th came and we were headed to the VRBO and I had realized that I had not received any check in information so I reached out to owner and before I got a response I got an email stating my reservation had been cancelled and refunded and I had to wait up to 15 days to get my refund. Then I received a message that said “I informed you March 10th that it was booked.” All in all ended up spending the same amount of money on a hotel room 45 minutes away from the music festival.

Awesome spot to relax
Publié le 27 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayAll the amenities you could hope for. An enclosed, outdoor kitchen with air conditioning. Large patio to enjoy the river from. And close enough to civilization for gas and groceries or bar/restaurant. Can recommend this place enough. It gets all the stars.
