Great Cabin
Publié le 15 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a beautiful cabin. It is well stocked with everything you need to have a stress free stay. It is very clean. We loved our time. We took our fur babies, which is wonderful that this host allows. The back porch is opened, but is gated in at the bottom so our dogs could enjoy the outside and not have to be leashed. My husband enjoyed fishing, had to walk the river to find good fishing holes, and caught a nice one. I could go on and on, you just have try this cabin.

As promised it was barrier free and made the wheelchair bound guest relax and enjoy being on the river. You can book this property with complete peace-of-mind. Highest recommendation.

Amazing cabin! Amazing River!
Publié le 19 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayRambling older cabin (in a good way!!) that was just so much fun. comfortable, homey, with absolutely everything we needed-seriously this home included more amenities than any other VRBO we've stayed in. Ample towels, ample toilet paper, ample detergent... tubes, inflator, blankets, firewood.. just wonderful. We put in a grocery order at the walmart in Woodstock and picked it up on our way in. We didn't need to leave again.
The owner is very caring and easy to communicate with, the neighborhood is lovely, the river is AMAZING.
We travel with VRBO several times a year and this home is right at the top.

Fantastic Family Getaway

Family vacation 2022

Publié le 25 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayThe setting of this home has an attractive, spacious backyard down to the river, which is a great place for kids to play and families to gather. It is quiet and rural. Deer, bunnies and birds abound.
The decor and furnishings inside seem tired and worn rather than quaint. Stained carpeting. Broken chairs on porches and fire pit area. We’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO homes. For the price, we were expecting something nicer.

Hi Becky, I'm sorry you were disappointed with the cabin. I know that the timing ended up not being great for your family, and the options we gave you to reschedule didn't work for you. A recent renter did break one chair by the fire pit, which we are in the process of replacing. The carpet is also scheduled to be replaced with alternate flooring but keeps getting delayed because of supply chain issues. We try to constantly make improvements, but it's not always fast enough for every renter. Our family stays at the cabin often, and we find it very quaint and comfortable.
