Clean and looks newly renovated

The rooms were clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was standard fare with scrambled eggs, sausage, omelets, muffins, waffle machine, etc. The breakfast area was clean even though there was a lot of people. My family will stay there again when we are in town.

I will say the staff that cleaned the rooms was amazing. That's where it ends. I asked repeatedly for blankets and pillows for the pullout couch. Which I never got and had to go buy some so my son could sleep comfortably. Any request I made they completely ignored. The rooms were clean. Which was really nice. We got yelled at while we were swimming to be quiet and not to get water in the hall when we left the pool (we hadn't left yet at all but was told we needed to keep the floor dry) which is where the unsafe part comes in. They have a tile floor leaving there that we some how had to keep dry while being soaking wet. She basically made it seem like we needed to dry it as we walked to our room. She also told us we needed to be quiet because she had guests that sleep during the day. Idk if u have been swimming with kids but they aren't exactly quiet. It pretty much ruined it and we left. Also the staff seemed to have time to hangout with friends but not actually help with things guests needed. Their friends hung around for hours. I would like to say we will stay there again but the staff ruined this experience.

Traveling w Toddler

Traveling with a potty training toddler for a funeral- challenging on so many levels. We had a view of the gas station- no complaint as this kept my toddler endlessly entertained. The room was HUGE. We took the mattress off the bed for her and made a floor bed. Super comfortable and with room to still jump and play, walked around comfortably. The pool is small and a bit cold but clean. No towels are provided. The internet can be a bit slow as it is an open wifi. Breakfast was good though some of the packaged breads were a bit stale. Very friendly staff and super helpful maintenance/housekeeping. My daughter loved the lounge area in the lobby. I appreciated the automatic double doors are offset- not perfectly lined up- because it helps keep her from darting outside. This hotel is NOT sound proof. I heard entire conversations, babies crying, doors opening and closing, people walking around upstairs, but it’s not unbearable. We all tried to be good neighbors. The best rooms are on the ends by the stairs- you get a little extra room.

Pleasantly surprised!

Super clean, very spacious room (2 queen/sofa bed suite), modern decor/lighting/flooring. Extremely impressed! After being on the road for a week & staying in other 9/10 hotels, this one is a 9.999. Super clean, even in the corners & crevices of the room & bathroom. Housekeeping does a FANTASTIC job here! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone going through this area. (Tried to add photos but page wouldn't upload.)

Accommodations were excellent. Quite comfortable and plenty of hot water and A:C. Highly recommended. Probably the best property in McAlester.
