Great location at a good price

The house is well stocked with necessary amenities but it has seen better days and some of the equipment are a little dated.
The WiFi speed and number of concurrent connections could be improved. We also had a little delay in getting replies from the property manager, probably due to Thanksgiving holiday.

Beautiful lake views
Publié le 14 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayEnjoyed time with family - Pros: There were 14 of us and house accommodated us all. Host was very responsive to all inquiries. Check in was easy. Loved the lake view from the deck. Had plenty of towels and paper products available. Air conditioning and hot water worked well for us. Loved the showers. Was nice to have a washer and dryer available.
Cons: House exterior is in need of some TLC. We didn't recognize it when we drove up as you could not see the front porch because of all the overgrown shrubs. Neighborhood seemed kind of sketchy - although we had no problems with neighbors. The yard area needs a good cleaning - trash like old grills, refrigerator, broken yard games, broken bench, old patio furniture cushions need to be thrown away. The living room windows that overlook the lake are so dirty and stained that it is hard to see out. Kitchen window over sink is very dirty. One bedroom was missing blinds on one window and the other one was broken. Lake was too shallow for good fishing at the house but a short drive down the road was more successful.

Beautiful Location just a little warm.

Everyone was able to make it to the water easily, with plenty of bedding, towels, and all the household things that made the trip go smoothly. The only real issue that we had was the air conditioners couldn't keep up with the Oklahoma heat. The owners were very responsive and sent out a Heat and Air person to investigate. But after a run to the store for some portable fans we were able get it comfortable inside. The kids had a great time playing the record player and listened to "Sweet Caroline" on repeat!

I wouldn’t suggest this home
Publié le 21 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWalked into a super hot, broken ac house in the middle of summer. Even though we got it on we still had to go buy fans to stay cool. Shower smelled. Towels smells. Found glass in carpet in bedroom. Bugs in one of the beds. Hornets flying around everywhere by house. Things falling apart or not working. Not any common space to accommodate a group more than 6. Bad experience for a big group trying to have a nice vacation!
